Well it's a lot of reasons I said N/A for E-40...it's definitely not me sayin he's in the same "category" as a Kanye or Will Smith. I've heard a whole lot of his shit, basically everything since like 94 95, and to me, he doesn't really try to portray that gangsta image like the other rappers I put up there. Most people see him as a funny ass dude when he is in interviews, and they see him as somebody creative as fuck. When a lotta people hear the name E-40, they aren't thinkin like "damn that nigga is crazy as hell, he real as fuck" as far as street shit goes. I have never been to his shows, and I don't doubt that he rolls wit real niggs and all that. I just never saw him as bein somebody who used that Gangsta image...most of y'all are actin like I gave him a zero...all N/A means is that you don't think that his image is important to him as a rapper.

i dunno maynnee...an E-40 show in Daygo will bring all tha G'z out. As much as any show, cept maybe some local muthafuckas like Mitch or somethin. I been into 40 since way back like u said, 94-95 when u couldnt go outside without hearin somethin from In a Major Way bumpin. If u pay attention to his lyrics, get past his slang and metaphors...most of his shit is about dope dealin, hustlin, ballin, thuggin, etc. Theres VERY few muthafuckas in the rap game i respect more then 40, and very few i see with MORE street credit really. How many cats out there have really never been questioned on that shit, like 40? He been in tha game forever, and nobody ever seems to doubt him.

i'm not sure if all this happened, but i think its a pretty well known story. but didnt 40 like take on a lot of initiative when B.I.G. first came back to California after 2pac died.
ive heard that he called biggie and said something along the lines of "it aint cool to come to california", and then when biggie did come, 40 had a bunch of gangbangers go at biggie. i dont know, maybe someone can get more in detailed. im sure i aint the only one that has heard of this.

^ I think it was DJ Enuff who spoke on it. Something to do with a bunch of low riders following Biggie around Sac town after a show. Apparently, some gangstaz caught up with Biggies entourage and one of em handed Biggie a phone with E 40 on the other line.

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

well i donīt think Biggie was a drug dealer coz every single person that he grew up with has said that he wasnīt. and he lived in a 6 or 7 bedroom apartment and believe me if you afford to live in an apartment that big with your mother you wonīt be on the block slingin crack.
