Kanye west - late registration playlist

[Throwback]

a german friend of mine had a listen to the new Kanye West album..

Well I got to listen to the new album thanks to my friend who runs a record store here in Munich so I thought I'd give y'all a quick taste of what's to expect...


1. Touch the Sky - produced by Just Blaze. Nice Curtis Mayfield sample and featuring an up and coming Chicago emcee called Lupe Fiasco. Pretty deadly combination this one, dope track.

2. Gold Digger - straight head bopping beat, nice hook by Jamie Foxx... this track like so many others by Kanye is about evil chicks haha. Second single.

3. Crack Music - most controversial track on the album... Game on the hook and Kanye rapping about black power conspiracies. Kinda heavy.

4. Heard 'Em Say - Adam Levine from Maroon 5 on the hook, nice melodic track. Gonna be the third single.

5. Drive Slow - dirty south stomper with a chopped and screwed DJ Screw sound to it. GLC and Paul Wall are featured. Not really my thing but many will like it.

6. Bring Me Down - Brandy gives you goosebumps on this one, along with the massive choir in the background. Definitely a highlight on the album.

7. Addictive - up tempo track with south American feel. The girls are gonna love it... sure fire club hit.

8. Diamonds from Sierra Leone (Remix) - the official remix of the first single with a qick 16 by Jay-Z.

9. Celebration - another over-the-top production, hype stuff. gotta love it!

10. Late - very experimental sudden burst of tempo... kinda strange. Not sure what to think about this one.

11. We Major - Solid track nice feature... not necessarily a highlight.

12. Hey Mama - The only old song that made it on to the album. Features John Legend in a re-mastered version.

13. Gone - Cam'ron, Consequence and Kanye spitting fire. Fucking incredible beat.. apparently Common rejected it! This is one of the best tracks for sure.
