next weeks episode looks awesome, finally find out how Locke became paralyzed

Good episode this week - at last they managed to strike a healthy balance between the 'beach' stories and the 'what the fuck is going on with this island' story.

SPOILERS:

I thought Eyepatch Man's speech about Kate, Lock and Sayid not being on the list because they're flawed was interesting - backs up the whole utopian society argument. Plus the fact he recognised Locke is pretty odd. Oh, and I found the fence scene genuinely disturbing.

Next week's looks awesome. Finally, after about 50 episodes, we find out why Locke was paralysed. It can only be a let-down LOL.

the locke episode is awesome apparently, i guess we will find out

on a side note, they didn't really recognise Locke, more that they did their research, the same way they knew Jack was a spinal surgeon, Sawyer was a con-man, etc.

True, but the fact that he used Kate and Sayid's surnames so freely showed he wasn't trying to hide the fact that The Others researched them. That meant there wouldn't be any reason for him to say so specifically to Locke "I have a fleeting memory of you"... He could just have said "The John Locke we know about was para-".

I might be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Eye Patch guy shows up in Locke's flashback in some way.

^ i think the reason he said "I have a fleeting memory of you, the John Locke I knew.." was to do with the fact that nobody on the island knew he was paralyzed before he got to the island, and he's been keeping it a secret

this is just becoming crazy. That was a dope episode even without giving any answers. Any way check this out. Season 1, the hurley episode..where he was sitting with this investor after his lottery winnings.
did anyone notice that someone was falling or jumped off the building as well? i did ..but i didnt put too much into it, because i hadnt seen this Locke's episode from previous night.

That was a great episode. My theory is that it isn't Locke's dad in that room at all - it's the same as Eko seeing his brother or Jack seeing his dad. A lot of people have speculated that the smoke creature on the island can somehow take the form of people...

I think it's his dad. But did that mean he just got teleported from wherever he was to the island or something?

Hopefully they will actually reveal this.

i just recently caught up on lost to it's current episode.....damn what a series! i can't wait to find out what is going to happen to locke's dad.... one thing that pisses me off though is every time we get one answer, we get 10 more questions

great series nonetheless.
