that is a very good theory. i could definitely see how that would be a possibility. that damn smoke creature is the most mysterious thing on that show. i'm sure that it's true purpose/nature will only be revealed at the end of the series.

The producers have basically said that it will appear again before the end of this season, and that you'll get some better insight into exactly what it is. But they added that how it 'works' and how it fits into the bigger picture of what is happening on the island won't be revealed until at least season four... Bastards.

man this i why people have starting to hate lost. Just skimmed through the next episode and it has nothing to do with the others. Just the gay beach stories FUCK

yeah, this was one of those push over episodes where the main stars of the show got to chill at their 5 star hotel in honolulu for the week. bastards

haha, it's lost man. anything can happen! i have a feeling the black smoke will have something to do with them in the end. notice how you could hear it in the background when chick and dude got bit by the medusa spider? plus, there had to have been some other point to give those two their own episode than to just kill them off. i can almost guarantee we will see one of them later on. and the smoke will have something to do with it.

yeah, i can't imagine what the storyboards for lost look like. they probably take up a whole basement somewhere.

What I've been doing is saving up like 3 episodes and then watching them all in one night that way you don't get so frustrated with the slow paced episodes.
