I think No Limit helped save Snoop's career and he'll say that too. And no-im not saying that to be obnoxious--i think theres some truth in that. Snoop released 3 platinum plus albums off No Limit--Nothing on Hoo Banging has ever come close to platinum. Now quality wise? thats all in the eye of the beholder but Topp Dogg and Last Meal are dope as fuck.
Top Dogg and Last Meal don't count as No Limit albums in my opinion. They may have been on No Limit, but he was living back in Cali, chilling and working with his homies by then. "The Game" is his only true No Limit album, he was rolling tight with No Limit, No Limit was big then, and it was his worst album, but atleast it sold 2 million copies. As a fan I would of loved for him to sign with a Cali based label like Hoo Bangin. However, It was a smart BUSINESS desicion for Snoop to sign with No Limit.
If Snoop didn't sign with No Limit....maybe doggystyle records would be an official label since that period!
