that call was bad and it seems like 95% it didn't hit the ground

but Pierzynski was smart enough to run and shit like that...........

P.S. Angels are gay, that Washburn throw alone deserves the loss  ;D

what game and broadcast were you watching??? thats a simple call....right into the glove...he was out and was called out twice and the angels are walking off the field and then they switch the call while he throws the ball down and all angels are half way to the dugout.....just WRONG....where you high when you watched this???...lol..jk man but still look at even the replay and its simple call

It wasn't a simple call...no way an umpire could accurately call it.

seeing it more, the angle from the side looks like it did hit the ground

and the umpire was indicating it as a strike, not an out.......... as it was, it counts as a strikeout, just not as an out\

both sides have good arguments

What I saw was that it did bounce, but from the dirt or from the glove?  Like it was stated before, the umpire motioned a strike 3 but no Out and the Catcher should have jsut tagged him.  Plus he clearly felt that it bounced, might as well make sure

What's the difference between strike 3 and an out ?

because it's a rule that if you swing and miss for strike 3 and the ball hits the dirt the catcher has to tag you for an official out, which the catcher didn't do, so it's a strikeout "statisically" but not an out
