I'll see how PS3 is. Most likely I'll but it. If not I'll wait for the Revolution. XBox isn't impressive at all and isn't worth $400. I always preferred Playstation anyways.

PS3 aint comin for a year.. you could just get a 360 now and a PS3 later.. best of both worlds

Well when they burn the games they cut out the movies/intros etc so the copy can fit on a cd

nah the current xbox ones are chopped to fit on dvd-r's..

Yeah O you're right about the copied audio cd's it'll probably do that.  It should be able to, there's no reason not to play CD-R's because people can have legitimate CD-R's.

It would. Cd-rips were popular a few years ago, but now with cheap DVDs and faster internet connections it's pretty pointless to rip games that way.
It all depends on the type of DVD drive installed, my first Xbox wouldn't play CD-Rs, then I had another one with Samsung drive and this one would, but I agree - nowadays a console should be able to read at least music CD-Rs. We'll see in a few days.
