How far can Glasses Malone go?

White Lightnin' (Sticks) was a dope mixtape, and it seems alotta people picked up on that.

As you know he signed a deal to Sony, and his first release in 2006 will be "Beach Cruiser", and Glasses said he workin with Ghostface, Kam and Anthony Hamilton.

Glasses certainly got alot of potential to sell, and he seems like he got alot of hunger to succeed in his goals too.

What ya'll think? How successful can Malone be?

To me, he is somewhat of The West's answer to Young Jeezy. Most people on here may think Jeezy sucks, but I think he's strait and everybody in the south loves him. I think they are a bit similar in their deliveries, and the fact that they can both make catchy hooks and bridges. I also see Glasses as havin a sort of Beanie Sigel-ish appeal, because he keeps it gutter n shit but can make songs that have appeal to them.

Hopefully Sony will market him the right away so that he'll be able to cash in at the end of the day. He already got a buzz on the West, so now it's time to expand to the other regions if he really wants to blow up.

I doubt that Kam will be on the album though, since Sony is releasing it...I think that those corporate assholes will want G. Malone to look for some bigger artists to collaborate with.

I see him putting out quality music but I don't see him blowing up. I would like that to happen but like he said himself if it's not Dre affiliated it's really hard for someone from the West to make it big in the mainstream.

well judging by Sony´s hip hop track record i´d say that they gonna drop his ass. Columbia and Loud released a lot of successful albums thru Sony but other then distributing those 2 labels Sony´s hip hop record sucks.

I definitely think he could be a big success but it really all depends on how much promotion he gets for his album. I feel like we (the fans) gotta promote the album just as much and more than sony is/might.
