Man i love Ice T

Ice t got me hooked on Rap back in the day.
I copped Rhyme Pays in late 87 and i was on my way to being a Westcoast hiphop fanatic.

I have all his shit including the analaogue brothers album.
Recently saw him live with Islam & Marc Live and he still got it.

My fav of his albums is Home Invasion.

Ice T is the OG no questions asked

Power and Original Gangster are hip hop classics.

You had to listen to Ice-T in that time to appreciate him, true West Coast pioneer.

The first rap concert I ever went to was Ice-T's Original Gangster tour.

Agreed. I don't buy Ice-T's story at all. Dude was a cornball back in the movie " Breakin", then he's a street pimp/hustler later on.
stupid. it's a movie, not his life

Can't believe you said Freedom Of Speech was his worst  :o. Easily Home Invasion is his worst in my opinion. Even that one is good. I'd say all his albums are solid.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Power is my favorite!

I Love Ice-T and i got allmost all of his albums in my CD collection, but i will never take him really serious! i mean, i see him more like a strerotype cult gimmick for gangsta rap! He is so bad that he is good, just like the early too short tapes!

hope i made myself clear!  ;D

WTF there would be no west coast rap were it not for Ice-T. Show some fuckin' respect.
