Author Topic: Why doesn't Lebron ever post up? (Also, he dunked from the foul line last night)  (Read 859 times)

dude is a monster-27- plus right now.   DOes anyone else find it completely fucked up that he has next to no post-up game???  With his inconsistent shooting from the outside, wouldn't it make sense to post him up once in awhile?  Once he has a post-up game, its OVER.  He's just too big, strong and quick.  He has the physical tools to be the best 4 man in the NBA.......

LBJ is killing it right now, but this shit is just ridiculous.  How many other dudes in the NBA have ever dunked from the free-throw line??? (yes, he went over, but so did Jordan and all the dudes who did the dunk in the dunk competetion)

PLANT

he definatly has the talent and size to have a sick post up game.  LBJ is going to break a shit laod of records by the time hes finished playing.

It probably has something to do with Mike Brown being the worst offensive coach in the history of the game. Whenever you have to go for a game-winner, it's LeBron standing 18 or 19 feet away, running down the clock, stepping back and jacking up a fade-away, with the rest of the team just being there.

Good question. Dude's obviously a beast physically and could probably develop a pretty good post up game. Don't ask me why he hasn't...

I don't think Mike Brown is the problem. I mean LeBron does whatever the fuck he wants, you can't even coach him. You give him the ball, and he creates something. If he doesn't post up it's cause he probably doesn't like it, and he still prefeer to dunk or to take some fadeway jumpers. You have to be a "Phil Jackson" type of coach (i'm talking about his curriculum) to really talk to him and to force him to change his game, and Brown obviously isn't. He's just a puppet.

How doesn't this make Mike Brown the problem? A coach is supposed to coach, not to tell his star player "do whatever the fuck you want, you make 10 times the money I do and got 10000 times the fame that I do, it's an honor to spend time with you." When you have such a lousy puppet as your coach, it's no wonder that you don't elevate your game as much. LeBron just never has been coached properly. Kobe has. Jordan has. LeBron clearly hasn't. Not even in college. He came straight to the NBA and has had poor coaches ever since. That's a major obstacle in his evolution as a player.

Interestingly enough, the title explains it all. He doesn't post up because he hasn't worked on improving his game. He always has been and always will be a slam dunk MVP.

Oh, from your point of view yes he is the problem.

P.S.

Let's say he feels he doesn't need it yet.
