The Chronic Intro: A Wasted Beat
« on: May 16, 2003, 08:47:40 AM »
I was listening to the Chronic and I was thinking the beat to the intro is so dope.  Dre should have used it for a song and not just to diss Eazy and Ruthless.  Someone should make a remix of it and put on some tight vocals.  What do yall think?

By that reasoning the intro should have had a weak beat that no one else wanted to appear on. Nah, the intro was classic, just right the way it was. Hell, you even got a quote from it in your sig - can't have gone that wrong!

If the album came out 11 years ago, and you're still talking about the damn intro, dre did something right.

I kind of agree that it was wasted, but not really...because it sounds good the way it was used...same with Eazy's intro from 'It's on'....

this is typical a lot...though warren g's rotr 's intro was the best beat on the whole album, the last meal's intro was one of the best beats on that album also

the difference between the chronic and paid the cost is that the chronic every single track is fuckin as tight or tighter than the intro.......now reverse what i just said for paid the cost.....that was the best beat on the album.....good album just not as good as that beat
