Suge did it all.......

LOS ANGELES Seven years after the killing of rap star Notorious B.I.G., the FBI is investigating allegations that a rogue Los Angeles police officer orchestrated the slaying with rap mogul Marion "Suge" Knight, according to court documents and law- enforcement sources.

The FBI is pursuing a 6-year-old theory that then-Officer David Mack, acting at Knight's request, arranged for Amir Muhammad, Mack's friend and college roommate, to ambush the rapper outside the Petersen Automotive Museum.

The Los Angeles Police Department over the years has offered conflicting assessments of the theory, which police at one point took seriously. Documents show that LAPD detectives are focusing on an alternative theory that centers on a Houston rap entrepreneur.

Mack, Knight and Muhammad, a Southern California mortgage broker, long have denied involvement in the 1997 killing.

"I have stated from the outset that I have nothing whatsoever to do with any of this," Muhammad, who also uses the name Harry Billups, said Thursday from his attorney's office. "I've done nothing wrong. I don't have anything to hide."

Knight, founder of Death Row Records, also rejected the allegations.

"I don't know David Mack or Amir Muhammad. I've never met them," he said from Mule Creek State Prison, where he is serving time for a probation violation. "The FBI has never contacted me, but I'm glad they are looking into all of this stuff. I hope they solve it."

Notorious B.I.G., whose real name was Christopher Wallace, was gunned down March 9, 1997, in front of hundreds of people who had just left a music-industry party at the museum. The New York rapper was sitting in the passenger seat of a sport-utility vehicle at a red light when a lone assassin in a dark Chevrolet Impala pulled up in the neighboring lane and opened fire.

The killing occurred six months after rap star Tupac Shakur was fatally wounded in a drive-by attack in Las Vegas.

No one has been charged in either killing. Detectives quickly speculated that the murders may have stemmed from a rivalry between East Coast and West Coast rappers. Shakur and Wallace had been feuding, and a rivalry between their record labels, L.A.-based Death Row and New York-based Bad Boy Entertainment, had escalated into assaults and shootings.

Each label used gang members for protection, and police investigated the possibility that both killings were committed by members of Compton, Calif.'s Southside Crips.

The theory now being investigated by the FBI was first advanced in 1998 by then-LAPD Detective Russell Poole.

According to Poole, Knight had Shakur killed because the rap star was about to leave his label and Knight then had Wallace murdered to make it appear that both slayings were the result of a bicoastal rap feud. Poole contends that Knight may have used corrupt police officers to help carry out both murders.

Mack, one-time partner of disgraced former LAPD Officer Rafael Perez, came under suspicion after he was arrested in December 1997 for robbing a bank. He is serving a 14-year prison term.

Mack owned a black Impala similar to the car used in the Wallace slaying, and a witness reported seeing him at the scene. Informants told investigators that Mack may have provided security for Knight. Both men grew up in Compton.

Poole began scrutinizing Muhammad, who was a classmate of Mack's at the University of Oregon, after learning that he had visited Mack in prison in December 1997. A jailhouse informant had told detectives several months earlier that Wallace's killer was a Southside Crip who went by a Middle Eastern name, possibly "Amir" or "Ashmir" and that his true name might be Abraham or Kenny or Keeky.

A driver's-license photo of Muhammad resembles a police sketch of Wallace's killer based on witness descriptions. One witness told police he saw a man who resembled Muhammad outside the museum the night of the shooting.

Muhammad, in the phone interview, said the account was unfounded. "Anybody who says they saw me there that night or that I had anything to do with this is a liar," he said.

Poole resigned from the LAPD in 1999 after disputes with his superiors about the direction of various investigations, including the one into Wallace's murder.

Poole since has promoted his theory of the Wallace slaying in newspaper interviews and books and through appearances on documentaries and TV shows. He has endorsed a screenplay treatment of it that is being shopped to Hollywood studios. Actor Sylvester Stallone has discussed portraying Poole in a movie.

Poole also joined forces with Wallace's mother, Voletta, who filed a wrongful-death suit against the city of Los Angeles two years ago. The suit contends the LAPD covered up police involvement in the rapper's killing.

The case is scheduled to go to trial July 27 in federal court in Los Angeles, with Poole testifying for the plaintiffs.

The FBI's interest in the case was sparked by a TV special on the Wallace killing aired on the VH1 cable channel last summer. An FBI agent who saw the show contacted attorneys for the Wallace family, who alleged that witnesses were afraid to talk to LAPD detectives, documents show.

The FBI declined to comment.

Man the LA Times has been printing stuff like this for years. Ain't no telling how much of it is true, but for real - the Pac & Biggie murders are the two topics they make a story about when ever they're trying to sell some papers. Remember that one piece that suggested Biggie had Pac killed? That was from the LA Times too.

i have also read a number of books suggesting the same thing, including photographs, and talking about David Mack's bank robbery  and they found the same impala ss in his garage used for the murder of biggie. David Macks' first jail visitor was Harry Billups who matches the description of the main suspect of biggies murder. Rafael Perez one of the most corrupt LAPD cops was found with money bags from David Macks robbery, and he provided Suge knight with security and was later charged with a quarter pound of cocaine showing up at his doorstep.

Why more people havent replied to this post is astounding, its amazing some people dont know about all this, with a few book, articles in newspapers & magazines & a documentary

Its the truth & Suge & his corrupt friends need to pay the price

Suge is an asshole, if you've read Ronin Ro's "Have Gun Will Travel" & watched "Welcome To Death Row", you see how evil that man is. The guy would lock everyone from rappers to female office employee's in his office while he watched psychotic MOB Piru's beat down on them, or humilate them in other ways as well, even Suge himself would get involved, David Kenner with his greasy slicked back hair watching while females got there teeth knocked out by others while Suge held her down

He is a gut less chicken shit, RBX told him to his face he wouldnt take on RBX if he wasnt hanging with all them Bloods (which he did pay for, he wasnt really a blood as a teen he was friends with some though). One time some guy called Bruce kicked Suge & a few of his blood friends ass  all by himself with no weapons. 2 weeks later Bruce & his girlfriend are dead.

Suge, he had it all, he was head of what could've been the Motown of Rap, instead he snorted & smoked, bashed & bullyed, assaulted & murdered it all away for what, so he could wear a red? (when he isnt in his jail house blues hehe)

He ruined it all. If he just had a heart, Dr. Dre, Snoop, Sneed, DOC, Quik, Cube, DPG, Rage, 2Pac etc etc would still be on there all together making dope music, instead it was all gone because Suge wanted to be "The Godfather"

I really hope that everyone involved is brought to justice finally. Theres so many leads & evidence against Suge & those involved. Hell Suge saying he doesnt know David Mack is a complete & utter lie (whats new from Suge thou), he was always at Death Row parties, doing "security" & eventually wearing Red suits that Suge also wore.

So yes, finally do justice for Biggies murder, one great rapper & young man takin away all because Suge thought Puffy tried to get him shot up (which is BS)

despicable 1-800-fbi-tell calling ass muthaphuckaz.

quit hating on suge.

saying suge had pac killed is just silly.  quit watching mtv.

puff, biggie, those cats were paying those sscc's for protection, and the next thing you know death row cats are getting jumped, getting their medallions stolen, pac is getting ambushed and shot.  alot of cats believe puff and biggie were behind pac's murder.

how the fuck is suge supposed to let that slide?  shit like that you have to retaliate over.

suge had it all, lost it all; and surely his shortcomings and failures torment his ass.  he's sitting in prison right now when he could have been up in his offices heading up one of the biggest most significant labels selling millions.

but if you don't want to get caught up in that street shit, don't get involved in that street shit.  every one of the participants is dirty, puff, bigg, pac, suge, and all the cats supporting them.  so get off this gay shit trying to single out a villain, and calling people victims...

the shit that happened with those cats happens in the streets al the time.  it's just rare that you get to see shit like that play out in the media, where the participants are famous and shit.  but there's a reason most people don't have muthaphukkaz gunning for them at every turn.  if you do some dirt, people are going to try to get back at you.  it's all about the choices one makes.  if pac makes some different choices, he's still here.  bigg does some things differently, he's still here.  suge makes different choices, he's a free man, running the #1 label in the game surrounded by talent.  puff?  well shit,  regardless of what puff does he'll still be a questionable, effeminate sideshow.  but that's no worse than what he is now.

stop hating on suge.

i hope dude gets out, maybe changes his attitudes a little and gets shit crackin' again.  maybe he'll repeat the mistakes he's made in the past and experience more failures.

He didnt kill 2Pac, South Side Crip's did that one for sure  no doubt in my mind i know it almost for a fact. Its a simple situation, Pac tried to jump up for MOB Piru by snapping on Baby Lane, but he fucked with the wrong crip, they rode for revenge, then there was wars between bloods & crips after that

But then I name myself after a guy who helped establish one of the greatest record labels of all time, a guy who does much needed charity work for the streets, a guy who gave jobs to known criminals and got them away from that life on the street.

I wish the hating on Suge ended, I mean if all his artists didnt get paid they seemed to be doin pretty well for themselves, Snoop, Dre, Daz, Kurupt

Yeah the guy maybe a bully, but then look at the pros the guy gives back, its a shame people on focus on negatives of one guy.
