DUBCNN & BIGG NORTH PRESENT: "Next 2 Crack" Mixtape Contest

Attention all New Westcoast artists, Dubcnn & Bigg North are currently finalising a new mixtape entitled: "Next 2 Crack" Volume 1. The mixtape is being prepared for a June 15th release with distribution in all swap-meets, mom and pop stores around California and of course online. The mixtape will be heavily promoted on dubcnn, radio and in various magazines.

The final release is being pressed with a view to increase the coverage of Westcoast Hip-Hop and take the names you hear about every day online to a wider audience.

The release is to showcase the premiere New West Hip-Hop & R&B talent for A&Rs, Radio Stations, Labels and fans see what the music is all about. We are offering one last spot on the mixtape to a New Westcoast Artist (Hip-Hop/R&B) that wants to be a part of this mixtape. You will be featured alongside names such as Sly Boogy, Mitchy Slick (Angeles Records), Young Hoggs, Lunch, Diamonique, Dirty Birdy, Chevy Jones, Bishop Lamont (Aftermath) and many more. We aim to generate exposure and gain these artists a wider fan base.

The winner as well as a spot on the mixtape will also get a free beat from Bigg North for their own project. Remember to be showcased alongside this talent we urge you to produce a track worthy of inclusion; any tracks not up to studio recorded standard or not of a quality deemed by the judging panel to be adequate will be dis-guarded. - Bear That In Mind!

When you email in your music please remember to include your Name, Location, Information on yourself and contact details. Although we do not insist that the track is new and made exclusively for this mixtape it will aid your chances of being selected if it fits in with the idea behind the mixtape. Terms & Conditions

1) The contest is open to artists who deem themselves to be "New West Coast" - when emailing tracks in remember to include your Name, Location, Information on yourself and contact details.

2) The winner will have they're name and music published on the site in accordance with the mixtape release. All rights to the music will be given over to Dubcnn & Bigg North for the mixtape.

3) You may enter with more than one track, however only the best will be short listed and there is still a chance it may not be successful.

4) The winner will receive no money from either dubcnn or Bigg North for the work on the mixtape. The idea of this contest is to give the opportunity to increase your name, fan base and brand by generating publicity.
