Dubcnn: So what's going on man?

Meech:
Just talked to Snoop today, I'm supposed to be getting with him he's working with Dr. Dre right now, this Meech by the way getting with him probably like Monday or Tuesday working on his album, so see how much progress we made. We can do it in the streets with E-White shit with long beach behind us and L.A, and everybody supporting the project including Snoop.

Dubcnn: That's hot man so….I saw you on MySpace when u were with Snoop at Long Beach where the OG's were at, can you tell us what went down, what you guys spoke on?

E-White: Oh well…basically ya know what i'm sayin, it was a neighbourhood meeting you know what i'm sayin, truthfully a lot of gangsta niggas in the house, you know most the eastside long beach cats with a couple of other folks representing but uh, it was a basic meeting of the east side of the city I guess you know what i'm sayin, coming together to iron out some situations but everybody was there for they own reasons, but you know what i'm sayin, I guess he saw me at the Huh? he approached me on some good shit ya know what i'm sayin, we talked, ya know what i'm sayin, briefly congratulating me on coming home and ya know what i'm sayin, about the project me and Meech did that he supporting it ya know what i'm sayin keep grinding what not, I bigged him up on his situation, ya know what i'm sayin, just stepped in and chopped it up for a minute, basically, ya know what i'm sayin, got re-acquainted real quick.

Dubcnn: Sounds good man, so will we see you guys on a track together soon u think?

Meech: Yea, I'm sure that will happen, sure that'll happen.

Dubcnn: Great. Meech, do you think you'll have a track on his new album?

Meech: Yea that's what we getting together for now, so….u know, if we can bang out something, I know we can, we ain't been in there for a minute so its easy.

Dubcnn: Yea man I hope so, so how's the mixtape doin out in the streets and on the Internet?

Meech: Oh, its doin great. Its like nothing but positive feedback on all the forums, and its selling at mom and pop stores and Tower Records that we put 'em in so its doing it thang and uh, getting saturated, yea.

Dubcnn: You know I was reading on the forum and a lot of fans were saying that you know, these groups snoop putting together like Warzone with MC Eiht and these old veterans in hip-hop, lot of fans feel like he should do that with the younger cats like you, Crooked I instead of bringing the old ones together, what you think about that?

E-White: Its like… first, I wanna give my respect and pay homage to the older cats and OG's. I got a personal relationship with my nigga Kam, I personally don't know MC Eiht like that I come across him, I respect what he did ya know what i'm sayin. I don't put Goldie in that category cause Goldie's younger than me and that's my nigga from the hood. I just you know what i'm sayin, what up to my nigga Hobo from the eastside of long beach too, wassup nigga I had to put that in there, no doubt. I think. Im'a say it like this, I think it's a shame that game is a representative out of the people that's known on the Westcoast as far as really pushing units and doing whatever, I believe Game is about to be about like ya know what i'm sayin… 27 years old, so its like…I refuse to believe that it ain't no dope talent in between the ages of ya know what i'm sayin however young you wanna start from when bow wow came in on up to say 25.

On the east coast you got Fabulous, you got niggas in that age range, ya know what i'm sayin, Young Gunz, you got niggas in that age that's known worldwide, you got niggas down south that's that age you got Chingy's, you got niggas ya know what I'm sayin, in that age bracket and younger that's getting recognised, Lil Scrappy. We as west coast niggas don't have nobody in that age group, the youngest niggas we got…nigga ill put it out there i'm working right around 30, no older than that, Bad Azz is the same era, Knoc-Turn'Al is the same era, ya know what i'm sayin, even Goldie is one of our peers even though he a bit younger, ya know what i'm sayin , and game is the youngest out all them. It just don't make sense to me that it ain't no dope niggas out here, we need some younger niggas to appeal to that young market. Why we ain't got no face out here on the west coast? Why it gotta be an E-white, why it gotta be a Crooked I or them names I just named, let it be a young mutha fucka out here that's next to do it.

Dubcnn: Have you heard any of the young ones, like Young Soprano I think he's real tight, he's from Mack 10's click….. Da Hood, have you heard him?

E-White: You know imma tell u what, I ain't heard any names...

Meech Wells: He said Da Hood, you heard of them.

Dubcnn: Yea, Young Soprano

E-White: Thought he said you heard they work...Ima tell you what young nigga I do like and I don't even like to get all into this shit, that young nigga from Compton, call himself Young Life, I like the way he get down. You know I like his shit, the shit that I heard, I ain't gonna say I heard hella songs. I heard like 2 songs and I like the way he get down! I'm sure some other ones out there just off the top. Yea my nigga Moses from the east side of Long Beach. Man, yall better check for that, brace yourself for that! Cause its so hard that you know what i'm sayin…check that on the mixtape number 22, Play Your Position Volume 7, the whiteout produced by Meech Wells, hosted by Dow Jones. Number 22 running beach like a lifeguard that's Moses. He on track number 30 with me too with Meech on the hook called lately so check them mutha fuckas out for sure so I ain't even gotta explain shit.

Dubcnn: How old is he?

E-White: He around that 30 mark know what i'm sayin….shit niggas still young in the face….bitches tell me all the time I can pass for like 19, 20….so I ain't even trippin * laughs *. 50 and them 30, Eminem and them came in late you know what I'm sayin? I know niggas ages man niggas in there eatin its that time when u grow up u got ya business mind and u at ya peak, u 33 years old when ya hit ya peak….

Dubcnn: I see a lot of Long Beach people coming together, but, there's no word from Swoop G, have you heard from him lately? What's he up to?

E-White: ………….Next question please! *Laughs*

Dubcnn: Lets talk about the upcoming album that you got coming?

Meech Wells: Crooked I….

E-White: Aww just what i'm bout to say too, we just…me and Meech put together a Long Beach underground meeting up you know what i'm sayin, ourselves up in Long Beach so we had everybody coming out about a 100 mutha-fuckas, we got pictures of this shit just all underground real niggas we got pictures, all documented, film tape and we'll put it out there for the public eye shortly, but we got Crooked I in the house, you got Big C Style, you got nah sayin Meech Wells in the house, Mr Cans representing from ya know what i'm sayin Baby Boy, man all the underground heads that u could imagine, niggas from Compton, Watts, we got NFL niggas fuckin with us, Sammy Parker from the Kansas city chiefs, tryna get back in touch with Willy McGuiness, you know what i'm sayin, just pushing this whole line underground so its coming strong cause u know I completely support this west coast movement but I just feel like u gotta get things right within ya own city, ya know what i'm sayin?, within ya own area before you can branch out and start doing shit with other folks.

Dubcnn: Yea, alright man that's about it for the questions. Is there anything else you wanna add?

Meech: Not really, just, you know look out for us man its hot, we coming back u know, by us not being part of the game for a couple years, we were apart of the underground scene, E-White went through some incarceration problems. Now its time for some talent to shine out here again and we feel like we going be a real big part of that right now even coming back with Dogg and you know, everything that's gonna happen, so….just looking forward to it.
