news One-2 Audio featuring Crooked I, Jayo Felony - By : SGV - April 29, 2005

One-2 is an Iran-Born, Sweden-Raised, Southern California resident signed to the West Coast packed roster of Treacherous Records. You may have heard him on Crooked I's Young Boss Mixtape. Today we bring you 3 tracks from One-2 that you may or may not have heard.

One-2 is a problem on the mic. He spits with the hunger of 1996 Chino XL, but with a very appealing style. Listen to him hold his own with one of the illest emcees in Hip Hop Crooked I by clicking below:

One-2 & Crooked I - The Muthafuckin' W.

"You ain't never seen a blast from a hammer/Just a flash from a camera/They be snappin' and takin' a bunch of photos/See that Panther on that logo?/It means that you Wolfs can never fuck with One-2 or Bullet Loco!"

Dig that quote? Then you'll wanna peep One-2 and Jayo Felony both murder this track entitled "So Treacherous" below:

One-2 & Jayo Felony - So Treacherous.

Last but not least, we have this solo track called "Posted Up", another heater:

One-2 - Posted Up.

We'll be bringing you more on One-2 soon. Keep in mind, this material is MERELY for his Mixtape, I can only imagine what his album will bring.

news FREESTYLE: The Art Of Rhyme - By : Adon - April 27, 2005

In these Days of Maybachs and Bently's, canary yellow diamonds and platinum chains, it seems that a lot of people are forgetting about the art involved in hip hop. That's where Kevin Fitzgerald aka Dj Organic steps in. He's put together an amazing documentary dedicated to the art of freestyling. Freestyle: The Art Of Rhyme explores the art form's history, rules, legendary MC Battles, taboos, social impact, and previously inexamined dementions of freestyling as spiritual and community based art form.

Documenting the freestyle scene from the early 1980's through to present day, FREESTYLE features a who's who list of seminal hip hop figures including:

Mos Def, Black Thought, Bahamadia, Freestyle Fellowship, ?uestlove, MC Supernatural, Graig G, Pharoahe Monch, Medusa, Akim Funk Buddha, Planet Asia, Otherwize, Juice, Wordsworth, Lord Finesse, Living Legends, Jurassic 5, Boots Riley of the Coup, Darkleaf, Divine Styler, The Last Poets and more.

I got a chance to see the film and I really liked the fact that it doesn't focus only on New York, it goes into great detail on how the freestyle scene started in California aswell.

The Film will be available in stores soon. Check out www.organicfilms.com for more info.

Check out the DVD Scans.

news Kay9ine Lives! - By : Nima - April 25, 2005

Thanks to Kay9ine's manager for the update on the situation. Kay9ine just woke up out of coma. He was shot twice in his back, and once in his head. The bullet is still lodged in his head, however he is looking for a full recovery.

His mother is also in stable condition and is being released from hospital soon. The sad news however is that his cousin, didn't make it, he died the same night, after being shot several times.

As we reported, 9ine was carjacked and kidnapped by 4 unknown men outside of Redlands. The gunmen proceeded to force 9ine to go to his home, which they robbed. The mother and cousin were in the house, and were shot cold heartedly. The mother however, still managed to call 9-1-1, 9ine was found around 3:30am.

Here goes the full police article:

"REDLANDS - Police on Sunday identified a gang member as the triggerman in the weekend home invasion robbery in which a Redlands man was killed and a grandmother was wounded.

Michael Lamar Rose, 23, also known as "Li'l 9", is a member of the Harlem Crips gang of Los Angeles County and is likely armed and dangerous, police said.

Rose, who is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes, is an acquaintance of Michael Denmon, 32, who was kidnapped from the house where Gerald Brooks Jr., 28, was killed, police said.

The suspect's last known address is in Pomona, police spokesman Carl Baker said, and his gang territory is thought to extend from Compton to Pomona.

"We're making an all-out effort and doing what we need to do to solve (the killing),' Baker said at a news conference Sunday evening. "We're combing Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside counties.'

Meanwhile, Peggy Faulkner, who was also wounded in the home-invasion robbery, and Denmon remained at hospitals where police have taken steps to ensure their safety.

Faulkner, 52, who was shot at 2 a.m. Saturday in her house in the 100 block of West Delaware Avenue, was reported in stable condition at Loma Linda University Medical Center. For her protection, police have her hospitalized under an assumed name.

"They're being restrictive about who can see them (the victims) because they're afraid of repercussions,' said neighbor William Peck, 54.

Faulkner is expected to be released today, said neighbor Trina Collins. Neighbors said she probably won't return to the house and will probably stay with her brother elsewhere.

Denmon is being treated at UC Irvine Medical Center. His condition was unavailable.

The violence, which stunned the neighborhood, began with Denmon being carjacked outside of Redlands, police said.

Next, Denmon was forced to go to his Delaware Avenue home where the house was robbed, and Brooks, who neighbors say is related to the other victims, was killed.

Faulkner was shot and the suspects took her car from the house where her seven grandchildren slept. She was able to call 9-1-1.

Police said Denmon was forced to go with Rose and three other men who took Faulkner's champagne-colored 1990s Chrysler 300. Fullerton police found Denmon at 3:30 a.m. Saturday. He suffered two gunshots to the back and one shot to the head, Peck said.

"I've never heard of something like this happening in Redlands,' Peck said. "That's more for areas like Los Angeles and Hollywood.'

Faulkner's car was discovered in an industrial area in Long Beach Saturday afternoon alongside Denmon's blue 2003 Land Rover which was also taken.

Both vehicles were towed back to Redlands on Sunday and are being processed by the Redlands Police Department forensics team for evidence, Baker said.

The victim's neighbors are trying to organize a car wash and other fund-raisers to help pay for Brooks' funeral costs, Collins said.

Saturday's killing was the first homicide in Redlands this year. There have been 14 murders in the city since 1988 and in each case, the suspect was arrested or is currently awaiting trial, Baker said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective John Moore at (909) 798-7642 or Detective Chris Catren at (909) 798- 7580 or the Redlands Police Department at (909) 798-7681.

news Z-Ro - Let The Truth Be Told (MP3 Audio) - By : SGV - April 10, 2005

According to the dictionary the word zero is a numerical symbol that represents the absolute absence of any quantity or magnitude. It is the lowest possible point or degree, nothing, zilch, nada, nil. Over the years the word zero has come to represent the average brother struggling to survive in the wake of devastating poverty and institutional racism that has regulate young Black men to the bottom of America’s socio-economic latter; hence the reason why Houston native and Rap-A-Lot latest rap sensation Z-RO chose the numerical symbol for his stage moniker.

“I come from nothing,” says Z-RO. “Didn’t have nothing and couldn’t see nothing up ahead. Everything was just nothing. So I told myself a long time ago that I am going to adopt the name of nothing and make something with it. I [took] that name to keep me grounded [and] to remind me of where I came from [and] to respect my blessings right now so I don’t go back that way.”

And the place where Z-RO came from was nowhere near nice. Born Joseph Wayne McVey in Houston’s rough and tumble South Park area. The 28 year old rap sensation was shuttled from household to household, in search of stability. But that stability would be even harder to find when at age six Z-RO’s mother died, forcing him to come to grips with pain at an early age. Once again Z-RO was forced to move to the east side of town, where things started to get kind of hectic for him. “That’s when shit started to get real,” recalls Z-RO. “A nigga started experiencing gun shots, stab wounds and all that other type of shit….all the shit that comes with being grown.”

By the time Z-RO had reached his late teens he had fallen victim to many of the traps that the system had set for young Black males, seeking a decent life with no jobs or opportunity available. He hit the block hustling.

Ironically, it was while he was hustling that he discovered rap music. According to Z-RO listening to the music of Tupac, The Geto Boys, Street Military, K-Reno and Klondike Kat inspired him to hustle harder so he could one day get himself out of the trap for good. It wasn’t long before Z-RO went from listening to rap music to kicking his own little freestyles over instrumentals that he heard on the radio and deciding that he was good enough to get into the rap game.

After going through a couple of studios recording demo after demo he finally caught a big break when he was hanging out in a studio and the CEO of a local rap label heard him free styling and signed him. In 1996 Z-RO Dropped his underground debut entitled “Look What You Done to Me.” The record created a huge buzz for Z-RO who quickly followed that up with Z-RO Vs the World and King of the Ghetto as well as a record by his group the Guerilla Maab. In addition to this Z-RO also joined the late great DJ Screw’s legendary Screwed Up Click and started spitting fire on the pioneering DJ slowed down tapes. All of these things helped to escalate Z-RO’s buzz throughout the South and by 2002 his talent and hard work caught the attention of Rap-a-Lot’s founder and CEO James Prince, who offered him a deal.

In 2004, Z-RO released his critically acclaimed Rap-a-Lot debut called The Life and Times of Joseph McVeigh. The record was a huge success and helped expand Z-Ro’s massive fan base beyond the Deep South. Now with his latest album Let the Truth be Told Z-RO is poised to take the world by storm, while starting a firestorm of controversy in the process. By sticking to what he calls “the G-Code” Z-RO is telling it like it really is on the streets and letting the chips fall where they may.

Produced by a slew of the South’s hottest producers lead by the legendary Mike Dean Let the Truth Be Told stands as one of the best records that the label has released in a while. True to Rap-a-Lot and Z-RO’s tradition of keeping their music real street is the lead single entitled The Mule featuring label-mate Devin the Dude & Juvenile, a slow and nasty song that harks back to the randy tradition of the Geto Boys “This Dick is for You” jam. “For those that don’t know hitting them with the mule means fucking the dog shit outta somebody’s daughter,” explains Z-RO. Another standout track is the heartfelt song “I’m Going Platinum,” a song that displays Z-RO positive outlook on his career. While these songs help to give the album a variety it is the hardcore, take-no-prisoners attitude of songs like the title page that make Let the Truth be Told so irresistible.

“I’m gonna let the truth be told on faggot-ass police. I’m let the truth be told on these faggot-ass CEOs of these record labels, I let the truth be told on these faggot-ass niggas in the street, I’m letting the truth be told on these rappers –that’s one thing about me is I tell like it is. You can call me a label muthafucka because I put labels on muthafuckas. It’s a lotta muthafuckas rapping from the 3rd person man. They just there to talk about shit in general. Me, I’m gonna talk about some particular shit or some particular muthafuckas. If I feel like a muthafucka’s being less than a G then I’m gonna say it on my shit. That’s why I called it Let The Truth be Told.”

news TREAL - By : mrtonguetwista - April 9, 2005

Sup ya'll I just wanted to give a few local homies of mine some shine and let the world know about them. There's alot more to Orlando,Fl than Walt Disney World, Seaworld, Universal Studios and tourists.

Representing Orange County, Orlando, Florida, this group of artists has managed to establish their own sound in the rap game, mixing a perfect blend of Dirty South, Crunk, R & B, and Hip Hop. The groups four members; Cheeze, Tsick, Poetic, and Eliseo (a.k.a. 50/50) have also managed to critique and perfect their skills and crafts over the years they have been together as well as accomplish many other things along the way. First starting as two separate groups, Curbside and Manifest each consisting of four members, the two groups would unite to form the eight member group 9.1.7., which represents the band room of the high school where everyone first met. However, creative differences caused the group to disband and only three members remained in contact and continued to pursue the local rap scene. Cheeze, Tsick, and Eliseo (a.k.a. 50/50) decided to claim the name 9.1.7. for themselves after they recorded their first song, “P.I.M.P.I.N.G.” together and decided to become a group in early 2000.

The group recorded a whole 14 track strictly underground album under the name 9.1.7. and released the last song that they recorded for the album, “Entering Orange County,” which was a tribute and anthem to the natives home, Orange County Florida.
This song wasn’t in “no type of way” mixed or even ready for the streets when it was released. It played on the local underground radio station and caught like wildfire throughout Orlando’s hip hop scene. However, the name 9.1.7., which actually was a group consisting of 24 or 25 members had a problem with the three claiming the name for themselves. So the three members decided not to use the name 9.1.7. and decided to use the name that the streets had given to them, TREAL, a saying that dates back to lord knows when and which means too real or as they like to say real to the T.

TREAL’s first album titled after their two year straight, number one, underground single, “Entering Orange County,” managed to sell a few thousand copies, mainly because of that one song, but had other songs such as “Ya Know” and “P.I.M.P.I.N.G.” which the street loved. However, that one song “Entering Orange County” was heard all over Florida and earned the group the name Kingz of tha County or Tha Orange County Kingz. Now the group is working on their debut album “Crunk Tested and Approved” which is the _expression given to the method of how they approve songs for an album. The group would study the industry, listen to what sound is going on, create a song of the same formula but give their twist on it and release it to the streets for opinions. If the song was a sure winner, then it was approved, if it wasn’t it was dropped. This method allowed the group
to be featured on many mixtapes especially in the Central Florida area and helped TREAL establish a core fanbase, which is growing.

Throughout the start of their career, TREAL has managed to do countless shows, especially in Orlando Florida. The have opened up for such acts as, 8 Ball and MJG, Lil Wayne, Pastor Troy, Lil Jon, Trick Daddy, Lil Scrappy and the list goes on. Many people have described their shows in one word, “Crunktivity!” “People love the energy that comes from them on stage. You can’t help but to get involved because subconsciously they make you,” a TREAL fan stated. “In fact, there has been many cases when TREAL opened up for a big act and had the crowd more involved and more energized as the opening act, than the official act itself.”

Pariah Entertainment was formed in 2003 by Moe Arnaiz, Charles Jolivette and Desi Gallardo, with the common goal of separating the art of music from the complex business that it embodies. At Pariah we are dedicated to supporting musicians as they develop artistically, encouraging experimentation and change. We as a corporation are determined to provide our artists with the highest level of marketing, distribution and production while allowing their focal point to be the music. Pariahs goal is to bring quality, affordable music to the masses through networking, touring and Internet-selling campaigns. So please join us as we look to reshape the music industry and restore the art back into this business.

This being the groups first album together, we want to make a good first impression to our audience, and I feel that Soul Gossip is just that. Any song on this album has the power to stand alone as a single," said The Backcourt?s manager, Moe Arnaiz. With the first single "Summer Daze" already receiving airplay from radio stations such as the Bay Areas 106.1 KMEL and Hot 98.7 in Santa Rosa, the future is looking bright for The Backcourt?s debut album, Soul Gossip.

Pariah Entertainment has made the official decision to release the album, Soul Gossip , with distribution to various record stores nationwide. But they are looking to experiment by making their primary distribution outlet their company Web site, TheBackcourt.com. Pariah Entertainment insists that this method of distribution presents several benefits to its audience.

"Usually, fans are stuck paying $10 to $15 for CDs in stores. With our new method of online distribution the CDs only costs $7.99, and we will even have promotions that will enable buyers to avoid shipping costs," said the Pariah Entertainment CEO. This new method of distribution is becoming common in the independent music industry with national distribution remaining expensive and difficult to attain.

Hopefully the internet becomes the future of record distribution. "It will give indie labels, like ourselves the opportunity to compete with the big labels, and it will provide independent artists with the ability to carve their niche into the music industry," said one Pariah Entertainment staff member. Pariah is even planning to post three singles from the Soul Gossip album on the Web site for the FREE listening pleasure of their audience. Pariah artist Rap4Rights commented, "We encourage our fans to listen to our singles. Once they hear those tracks we are confident that they will be back to buy the complete CD." With the album price only a fraction of the cost compared to most albums, Rap4Rights may have a valid point, but only time will tell, as for now the coming months for Pariah Entertainment and The Backcourt look to be full of excitement and experimentation.

news Dubcnn presents Al Gator! - By : Yash - April 7, 2005

Some of the greatest MCs that ever touched a mic have past away while others have retired, but the streets is talking and everyone wants to know who has what it takes to elevate the rap game to another level.
In Hip Hop, it is about survival of the fittest and Al Gator a.k.a. “Da Free Agent” is definitely ready to put the rap game on his back.

The question is are we ready for him?

23 year-old Georgia native, Alden “Al Gator” Portress grew up in the streets of College Park where initially he started working in music production. Shortly thereafter Gator formed a rap group, with the Hip Hop artists now known as Ludacris and DTP, called “Playaz Circle” this enabled him to sharpen his writing skills as well as his lyrical prowess.

In less than two years of writing and battling, Gator has received a tremendous amount of critical acclaim being compared to rap elites such as Nas & Jay-Z in their earlier careers. As the Source Magazine’s unsigned talent to watch in 2005, Gator is making everyone aware that southern hip-hop is going to take on a totally different meaning once he’s officially in the game.

After listening to his infectious flow, heavy hitting producers in the game such as The Alchemist, Focus (Aftermath Ent.), Dent, Midi Mafia, Mr. DJ from Organized Noise, and Rick Rock have proven that Gator has what it takes to lace even their flyest beats. “Man, this dude is hot,” says Focus (Aftermath Ent.).
Aside from working with the some of the best producers in the game, Gator has created a buzz on the underground scene by independently moving over 3000 units of his first mixtape entitled “Da Free Agent Vol. 1.”

Gator has been approached by A&R executives from Island Def Jam, Star Trak Entertainment, Soso Def Recordings, TVT Records, Blackbaby Ent. and Roc-A-Fella Records.

Dubcnn Brings you two hot tracks from this young cat both produced by Aftermath producer Focus(who did Where Im From on Game's album):

Al Gator "Nothin 2 Lose" Produced By Focus (Aftermath)
Al Gator "Mouf Of The South" Produced By Focus (Aftermath)

news Mill Ticket "It's A Problem Vol. 1" Mixtape - By : SGV - April 6, 2005

Mill Ticket Entertainment presents: The ultimate Mixtape, "It's A Problem Volume 1" with Wallet, Kontroverse, K.Dot, Dubb and Kapp featuring special appearances by Kurupt, Lil' Jon, 40 Glocc and Young Ron.

The Rap game has never experienced true problems until now. "It's A Problem, Volume 1" is a title that is truly self explanatory. No artist has caused this much chaos on one Mixed Tape. On April 12, 2005, this 24 track mixtape will include 3 bonus Southern Inspired "Screwed and Chopped" songs, which will force everybody to take note to the competition that is about to raise the bar in Hip Hop. Wallet, Kontroverse, K.Dot, Dubb, and Kapp prove that the game has been taken over. With production by T.I.T.O, Flow, Ivan, Dow Jones (Roscoe P. Coldchain/Star Trak), J.Gambit (Rass Kass, Scipio), Da Rock (Memphis Bleek, LL Cool J) and Ramone-Golden Boy Music (J Boog, LIL Fizz, Guy), Bionik(Stat Quo, Slimm Calhoun) this mixtape is sure to bring a revolutionized view of music. "It's a Problem, Volume 1" provides the listener with special appearances by some of Hip Hops biggest influences. One of the West Coasts own forefathers, Kurupt, The South's creator of Crunk Music, Lil Jon, the Source Magazines Unsigned Hype 40 Glocc and new emerging artist Young Ron all make unforgettable appearances that will definitely cause new problems.

The songs "Murder by Numbers" and "What?" already have the underground rap scene buzzing about this upcoming sound. Three title tracks, "Uh Oh," "Heat" and "On the Street", have been Chopped and Screwed to change the dynamics of the original lyrics and beat of the song. Chopped and Screwed music originates from Down South, made popular by DJ Screw(R.I.P.!). It's a slower version of a regular paced song. "This causes the song to have more length, changes the format without changing the actual message and lets the listener vibe to the bass line of the track," Mill Ticket Entertainment CEO, E. Mills, explained. This type of music has yet to be attempted by an East or West Coast artist and "It's A Problem, Volume 1" brings a small taste to listeners who may be completely blind to this style of music, which is the next big thing in hip hop. You haven't experienced a problem until you've heard "It's a Problem, Volume 1."

news Introducing: Boom Bap Project (Audio) - By : SGV - April 5, 2005

The Boom Bap Project stands for one thing... preservation of true hiphop music and culture. As the culture has progressed into a billion dollar industry, the Boom Bap Project has remained unscathed and true to their moniker - true boom-bap-style hiphop. The multi-cultural, Seattle based trio consists of MC's Karim aka Nightclubberlang, Destro Destructo, and DJ Scene. Through their trials and travails of seven years in the unforgiving underground indie scene, Boom Bap has emerged with a soon to be classic album "Reprogram," which is being released and pushed on Rhymesayers Entertainment. The Rhymesayers label is responsible for introducing a plethora of next-level hiphop including the likes of Atmosphere, MF Doom, Brother Ali, Eyedea and Abilities, and Grayskul, to name a few. The legacy is definitely set to continue with Boom Bap Project's "Reprogram," an album that combines the street feel of Run DMC, circa 87', with the freshness of 2k5 wordplay, and production from Seattle's best Jake One and Vitamin D - producers responsible for crafting bangers for the likes of G-Unit and 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, De La Soul, Gift of Gab and Ghostface Killa. Top notch production combined with fierce, focused wordplay equals the Boom Bap.

The BBP first dropped the critically acclaimed album "Circumstance Dictates" in early 2001. The album, entirely produced by Jake One and Vitamin D made waves on the indie scene, and eventually lead to a rigorous touring schedule across the US and Canada. BBP smashed virtually every US and Canadian market with their brand of true hiphop, along the way securing an extremely loyal fanbase that continued to grow with each visit. The crews contacts and efforts found them sharing the stage locally and nationally with the likes of Eminem, the Wu Tang Clan, the Roots, the Black Eyed Peas, Snoop Dogg, as well as all the top drawing independent hiphop acts across the nation. In 2002, BBP was invited to the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah, where they rocked to 30,000 global music fans with the likes of Erykah Badu, the Roots, Common and Talib Kweli. That same year found the Seattle trio rocking the infamous Bumbershoot festival on the main stadium stage in front of 50,000 heads with the likes of Mos Def, Jurassic 5 and Dilated Peoples. Along the way, their exhaustingly energetic stage show garnered them thousands of new fans, believers and allies in the fickle hiphop industry amongst performers and the like, and a hardcore local and national fan base. The wave of Northwestern momentum meant attention from numerous indie and major labels, and Boom Bap finally signed with the prestigious and well connected Fat Beats Records of New York City. As the buzz for the next album grew, the crew was ready to make an even bigger move, and signed to Independent hiphop's top-producing label, Rhymesayers Entertainment.

The new album bears allegiance to the classic hiphop formula and ideals. "Reprogram is Seattle HipHop, it's a unique sound that represents our undiscovered region, and more importantly, represents our take on what we feel is the true shit...straight hiphop, no chaser," BBP MC Nightclubberlang says. "We wanted to make a classic sounding album while sticking to what we know and do, and at the same time, we want to rep the whole Northwest, cuz we've been slept on and overlooked for way too long," MC Destro Destructo adds. The album does just that. With a concrete, street level, upbeat approach, the album is chock full of banging joints. To add to the all-star production lineup of Jake One, Vitamin D, Bean One and Mr. Hill, guest appearances and collaborations take the record over the top. Guests on "Reprogram" include true hiphop heavyweights Dilated Peoples, Blackalicious (Gift of Gab), the Lifesavas, Grayskul, world champion DJ Vin Roc, and their own NW based 20 person crew, Oldominion. Each guest adds their own take on that classic Boom Bap, and leaves the audience with a truly classic LP which can and will undoubtedly stand the test of time amongst other classic hiphop records. In a quest to blow up their region and rock the spot, the Boom Bap Project delivers with energetic, next level Northwest hiphop. The quest is putting themselves and Seattle and the whole NW on the map, all the while staying true to the culture and ideals passed down from the likes of Chuck D, KRS One and Run DMC. This is the Boom Bap Project...Welcome to Seattle!

Cop their Mixtape Welcome To Seattle! It's out now and is packed full of hot shit. One of the most promising producers Jake One has about 7 tracks on it.

news Eminem & 50 Cent Get Together For U.S. Tour - By : Nima - April 4, 2005

The third installment of the Anger Management tour will be on the road beginning July 7, it was announced today. This will be the first tour Eminem has done since the November 12 release of his latest album, Encore, which is approaching five-times platinum sales in the U.S.

Joining Eminem on tour for all but the first two dates is 50 Cent, whose new album, The Massacre was released on March 8, and has already sold almost 3 million copies. This is the first U.S. tour that pairs Eminem with partner in rhyme 50 Cent. Like Eminem and his Shady Records family, this will be a family affair for 50, with G-Unit joining him on the road. 50 Cent is just beginning to shoot his film debut, and due to the movie's production schedule he will be unable to appear at the first two dates, Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH. Ludacris will be taking his slot for those shows. King of Crunk Lil Jon along with his East Side Boyz will start of the night off right for the entire tour.

"We've been waiting for the right moment to go on tour, and it all finally came together," said Eminem. "We wanted to put together the best lineup we could...I'm always trying to top the last tour whenever I go out. I think we're really doing it this time."

Eminem's entire Shady Records family will be on the road with him for the five and a half week run. Besides hearing songs from Encore performed live for the first time, concertgoers will see performances from D-12, Obie Trice, and the newest addition to the family, Atlanta's Stat Quo, who recently signed to Shady/Aftermath and is already creating a buzz at press and radio. Shady artist and award-winning mixtape king Green Lantern will, as usual, be behind the turntables.

50 Cent added: "Whenever I get together with Em you know it's going to be hot. Right now, I don't see anything that will stop this from being the tour of the summer. You better put in for that time off from the job now, before somebody else beats you to it. Or quit your job so you can see every show."

Those who can't quit their jobs can tune in to Sirius Satellite Radio's Shade 45 channel all summer long for tour coverage, exclusive live performances, and backstage interviews. Also coming this summer is the DVD from 2002's Anger Management tour, which features live performances from Eminem and D-12.

The tour will wrap in Detroit with two shows at the home of the Detroit Tigers, Comerica Park. These shows promise to be as legendary as the one-off hometown show at Detroit's Ford Field in 2003. Dates are as follows:

July 7 - Indianapolis, IN - Verizon Wireless Music Center

news Xclusive AllFrumTha I, Ice Cube, Mack 10 [Audio] - By : Nima - April 2, 2005

I'm back with a little exclusive for ya'll by AllFrumTha I. This is a remix to the song "The Dopest", featuring Ice Cube & Mack 10.

On this track, Binky Mack, Squeak Ru, Mack Dime and Don Mega all trade verses with an enourmous energy, over a banging beat by The Produkt. This is the Westside Connect Gang at it's finest.

Download the song below in MP3. It remains a mystery whether or not this song will appear on the AllFrumTha I's new album "Larger Than Life" dropping April 19th or not.

news THE DOGG POUND REUNITED!!!!! - By : Nima - April 2, 2005

IT'S TRUE!!!!!!! It's been in motion over the last week, starting with Bigg Snoop Dogg announcing his West Coast Conference he's going to call on the site and saying he wants to involve everybody from the West, followed by Kurupt making it public that he's down to get down with Daz & Snoop again.

Today, Daz Dillinger made the final step by announcing on Julio G's K-Day that he's ready to move on and get back with Kurupt.

This is the best news in a LONG ASS TIME, Daz & Kurupt, Kurupt & Daz, back together. It remains unclear whether Kurupt is still signed to Death Row, and what the situation with the other members such as Bad Azz, Nate Dogg etc is. However they are trying to patch things up with Jayo Felony, 40 Glocc and such.

We'll keep you updated on this, this is huge news for the West Coast, and the rap game in general. I'm sure the two still have the same chemistry they used to have before the break up.

D.P.G.C. 2005!
