Six Reasons comeuppance was characterized by the hustle, violence and perils of Watts ﾖ a neighborhood of Los Angeles that has always been a hotbed of talent and is burgeoning with up coming artists. Sixﾒs namesake reflects his theory that only six concepts motivate peopleﾒs actions: money, power, respect, fame, fear and love.
Having already gained notoriety in clubs and on the streets from LA to The Bay to Las Vegas Six Reasons is now ready to release “Pipe Dreams” – a collection of singles from a young rapper who employs sharp wit as a tool to paint rich, colorful portraits of life in the hood. The perfect blend of club bangers and social commentaries, “Pipe Dreams” shows that Six Reasons has the rare ability to motivate masses to dance as well as reflect. It would appear thereﾒs hope for hip-hop yet.
The album, which is being released for free download by the artist collective and movement known as Trojan Horse, features the hit single “Tat2ﾒd Up” (KIIS FM Top 102 Songs of the Year) and follow-ups “Cup Of Ice” and “5150s”. “Pipe Dreams” features guest appearances from long time Dubcnn featured artists Prophet and LeMarvin as well as LT, Grown Mo and Layne Tadesse. Production on the release comes from Deep H2OZ (Mac Dre, Too Short, Clyde Carson), The Key and Hutch.
