Bad Lucc & Damani “Gotta Stay Paid”

October was the month we first exposed you to Bad Lucc, the acclaimed Watts MC who has been making moves on the mixtape circuit both as a solo artist and with his group effort The Westurn Union with Damani. The group mixtape, “Jackin 4 DJ’s,” was so well received they are working on the second installment due for release in 2006. Also being prepared for next year is Bad Lucc’s solo album and a new project titled, “Watts City.”

“Watts City.” aims to bring together Watts MC’s to highlight the talent in the city. The project being created by Bad Lucc, Halla and Stix aims to have appearances from artists including Glasses Malone & Kam.

Until then Bad Lucc and “Stay Fresh Ent.” are hosting the Official “Battle Zone Afterparty” this friday, December 9th at CC’s Roadhouse, (see flyer.) If you attend tell them dubcnn sent you!

With all this material being worked on we have been allowed to release to you a new track from Damani which has been produced by Warryn “Baby Dubb” Campbell and DJ Reflex, “Gotta Stay Paid.” Check the track below, drop feedback at the forum.
