Ice Cube – Chrome & Paint (Feat. WC)
In related news Ice Cube was in Las Vegas on October 9th shooting a video for this very track. He was in town to perform at the Lowrider Magazine 2005 Super Show at Cashman Field Center and utilised the Vegas backdrop. According to Matt Alvarez, Ice Cube’s partner in his Cube Vision company, The Cashman show drew hundreds of lowered and chopped cars equipped with special hydraulics and adorned with murals and was the initial location for the shoot, the video was then expected to shift to the Fremont Street Experience for additional filming, requiring a shutdown of Casino Center Boulevard between Carson and Ogden streets. Three camera crews were expected to catch all the action, with Marcus Raboy, who directed Cube in the 2002 comedy “The Friday After Next,” called the shots for the video, which should hit MTV, BET etc later in the month.
