Flixx “Takes Em 2 Da Infirmary” On DJ-Age Mixtape

0

October 2008 was the last time we heard from Gardena native Flixx, who initially burst onto Dubcnn in 2005 with his incredible single Tha Dubb featuring and produced by J. Wells. The success of that single led Flixx to release his debut album “Politics & Pimpin'” and as we reported on in October he is finishing up his sophomore album “Politics & Pimpin’ Article 2.”

Since that update Flixx linked up with DJ-Age to put together a mixtape featuring some tracks that have been released since his first album as well as new tracks including the Stylistik Jones & Clinton Wayne featured Everyday Activities and Hell 2 Heaven featuring Kurupt and Nire over a hypnotic J Wells production – both of which are also set to appear on “Politics & Pimpin’ Article 2.”

We have the free download of the new mixtape entitled “Take Em 2 Da Infirmary” which is also promoting Flixx’ Infirmary Records West/South labels as well as new music from a newly formed group Lac De Ville (Flixx, Q-Ball & O.Z).

Enjoy the new music and please drop feedback for Flixx and DJ-Age on our forums. “Politics & Pimpin’ Article 2” is now due out in April 2009 and the vide for the single Gardena 90249 is being filmed later this month, lookout for that on Dubcnn when its completed. Stay tuned in 2009 for an album from Lac De Ville in June as well as a BestPaul project entitled “Tha CA.NV.AZ” in May.
