Let’s take a quick trip up north for this brand new song by Canadian songstress Melanie Fiona, who was just nominated for a Grammy for her appearance on The Roots & John Legend‘s collabo “Wake Up Everybody”. She’s currently working on her upcoming album “The MF Life”, due out first quarter of 2011.
You can expect some A-list names on production as well as guest features: No I.D. has provided a couple strong tracks for the album while Melanie Fiona linked up with Snoop Dogg for a mixtape track called “Gone”, which is not gonna make the album. She’s also going in with more artists such as Drake and of course the head of her management at Roc Nation.
Today we have her brand new single called “Gone and Never Coming Back”. I haven’t seen this song on any Blogs or Twitters yet (besides the live version that dropped 2 days ago).
