We get 100s of tracks a day into the inbox here at Dubcnn, some drop – some dont, today one landed that after one listen had to get dropped! DJ Premier has released the CDQ download of the previously only available radio rip of “5%” that sees KRS-One and Grand Puba over a Premier production.
The track is the first single for the upcoming KRS-One and DJ Premier album “Return of the Boom-Bip” that is scheduled for 2011. The track can also be heard on the “Year Round Records: Get Used To Us” compilation which is in stores and on iTunes now.
