In August last year we told you that DJ Zone, originally from Italy, has spent the last 15 years involved in the world of Hip-Hop in 1995 and in that time has toured throughout Europe, worked with Warren Gﾒs previous G Funk Records artist Foesum as well as Bo Rocc of The Dove Shack before in 2007 completing his first solo album “Tha G-Funk In Me”, which featured many West Coast pioneers such as Daz Dillinger, Kokane, Bad Azz, Shade Sheist, The Twinz, Foesum and more – the album went on to receive positive reviews across Europe and Japan.
In 2009 he continued a working relationship with Kokane and in 2009 Kokane introduced DJ Zone to West Coast Hip-Hop producer J. Wells. By 2010 J. Wells had signed Zone to his Bonzi Records imprint and has been working with Zone to complete his second album “Rhythm & Passion” which in our last update was due last October and as such in August we released the single Take A Ride featuring Roscoe.
We are back today as DJ Zone and J. Wells have released the video for Take A Ride with Roscoe and Sky as the album “Rhythm & Passion” – which will feature Soopafly (DPG), WC, Roscoe, Kokane, Julio G, Goldie Loc and more is being released at the end of the month, July 26th via Bonzi Records.
