Dubcnn got a chance to catch up with DJ Dow Jones last month for an exclusive interview. The only Shadyville DJ in all of Canada, itﾒs clear that DJ Dow Jones has been doing something right for a long time now. As an influential DJ throughout the country, DJ Dow Jones became Bishop Lamontﾒs official tour DJ after a few run ins with the former Aftermath emcee in Winnipeg and Vancouver.
Never considering himself a mixtape DJ, Dow Jones decided to turn an idea he had in his head to fruition when he began working on the The Free Trade Agreement – which we dropped in February.
The project sees Canadian and American emcees and producers thrown together showcasing Canadian rappers over American producerﾒs beats and vice versa. Warren G, Nate Dogg, Bishop Lamont, Kobe and more make appearances. For those that missed it we dropped the audio for Faded with Nate Dogg & SonReal in January.
