After a year, it's still a great album and huge improvement from "Under Tha Influence", which is easily his worst record to date...I don't think this album is a "classic" at least not after a year...maybe in about 5 years or so when people are able to go bacc and "re-discover" it and still get that same feeling they had when it was first released. That "Intro for Roger" tracc off the album and "Total Auto" tracc off the mixtape only shows Quik improves over time, rather then recycling the same beats like other producers.

Trauma is/was a fucking great album. Musically magnificient.

I heard the next release will be an album with AMG.

the negative/depressed lyrical content of the record just really brings it down. Until Quik realizes that being the best rap producer doesnt necessarily mean big sales numbers he will continue to make angry records, mess up stuff and get himself locked up  :-\

Still a damn near classic album though! Not a single bad track

one of the best albums to come out of the west in years but still not among Quik's best like Safe + Sound, Rythm-Al-Ism and Quik Is the Name.

I love Trauma, great album, one of the best of last year. It's my favorite Quik album behind Rhythmalism and Balance and Options.

Catch 22 is the shit.

its a classic westcoast album, had dope featured artists B-Real, Nate Dogg, T.I., Wyclef etc, tha beats were krazy, and lyrically he was at tha top of his game.
