Interesting to see how many of yall like eastcoast

although this is a westcoast forum, alot of the threads are about east/south artists like nas, ludacris, busta rhymes , jayz etc... i personally dont listen to east coast besides wu tang or some busta rhymes but i aint got anything against it... i wanted to know how come so many of yall who prefer eastcoast come to this forum.

I feel you man.  This IS  a West Coast forum, and it has been gettin clogged up with a lot of East cast topics.  I don't mind if it's related to the West, but I don't care for that stuff here.  That's why I post here, for West coast shit.  I think we should stop with this non West coast news.  I personally don't have many East coast albums..."The W" - which is burned, and it sucks.  "Scorpion" cause of the 2 Dre songs, they are the only ones I listen to.  Shouldn't the non West coast topics go under, 'Anything Goes'?

Luda isnt eastcoast kid, he's from ATL, which just happens to be in the Dirty South...but anyway people on the east forums still like West Coast and Dirty South...I like all three about equal...and nothin that great has been poppin' in the West, (unless some underground shit i've never heard of...) so i aint gonna just like west, esspecially if nuthin great has been goin on lately, (granted i live in Detroit so maybe y'all Cali cats know a lil suh'in i dont...) so I like east and south too...

I like Westcoast better, but i like everything man.  I remember i REALLY got into hiphop with Dre and Snoop around the Chronic, and Doggystyle.  But when i first heard Nas Illmatic, i was awestruck cuz it was so different.  Then i got Wu 36 Chambers, and it was on.  There were a few years where Eat coast was much better than the West, for real, and if you were listening to hip hop in those years (When Dre dropped Aftermath presents, and then Snoop with his No lImit shit), you would felt this too.  
   Ya, this is an West board, but some of ya'll might disocver there is more out there than just Snoop, Dre, and them.  Cuz there was a time when i didn't think so either, but that changed when i opened up my mind.
     Incognito, "Scorpion" and "The W" do suck, so i can see why you don't like East coast.  Try getting some good shit, listening to it, and then forming an opinion.   PEACE

I don't mind East Coast topics because it's better to discuss all aspects of Hip Hop rather than just being one-sided like all those East Coast cockmunchers or geek Back Packers on the other boards who only listen to one type of Hip Hop therefore making their opinions stupid and ignorant. I love this site because the members of WCC are the most tolerable Hip Hop fans on the internet.

And yeah I love East Coast Hip Hop but I love West Coast even more because I live out there so don't go there!

The fact that this board supplies eastcoast hip-hop related topics makes it an even better place to come IMO, it shows that we're open minded & open to all styles of hip-hop. This way we get to learn about ALL styles of Hip-Hop which is a bonus IMO.
I love hip-hop as a whole, but if I had to choose one particular style it'd b the west, but thats jus' my preference.
