Dubcnn Radio With Yash & J-Ro: Episode 1 - November 20, 2008 By : Rud



It's been some time in coming however today we are proud to present the new incarnation of Dubcnn Radio via the Dubcnn LIVE Network.

Dubcnn Radio is being launched midweek as a new series however the regular version will be available each week on a Monday. Dubcnn's own Yash and Alkaholiks own J-Ro will be your weekly hosts for this two hour segment packed with the latest audio as well as throwbacks, interviews from your favourte artists from the West Coast as well other Hip-Hop notables and even entertainment and popular culture figures.

This week to launch we have a Rock The Bells special as Yash and J-Ro caught up with De La Soul, DJ Green Lantern, DJ Scratch and Supanatural on the Sweden leg of the first International section of the Dubcnn sponsored Hip-Hop festival.

As well as those interviews we have one with Pornstar Trina Michaels as well as drops from an array of artists and personalities; including Katt Williams. Check below for the link to Episode 1, where you can listen or download Hour 1 and 2 and also see a full tracklist of the show.

I'm checking it out right now. Real cool you started another show since Eddie moved on. I'll drop more feedback once I've listened to it some.

It's a real good start. I like the music selection a lot. And of course, I'm lovin' the fact you got J-Ro doing the show with you.

Some constructive criticism, if I may though. First of all, I think the show could be shorter. () It kinda felt there was a whole lot of music, but just a little bit of the interviews and stories, which are really the reason, for me at least, to listen to the radio or podcasts. Don't get me wrong, I love the music, but music isn't the reason for me to check a radio show. Also, the show cracked just a little bit in my speakers, but that's a minor tech detail.

You're on the exact right track though. Keep at it, I'm sure this'll grow into something really good.
