it would be more exciting if they played just one period or three 10 minute periods.

i was actually into it late in the game; then especially in sudden death overtime.

You can argue that the USA wasn't the most successful country at the Olympics but you can't argue they won the medal count, it's just basic math, they won the most medals.

This whole thing is getting stupid. It's the fucking Winter Olympics! Who cares? And beating the US at Hockey is nothing special. Hockey is all Canada is about. We've had a pro-football league here in Canada since 1909; does any Canadian here want to see what would happen in an Olympic Football match between the two countries? The fact the US even came close to winning is an insult. We wouldn't come with in 4 TDs in a Football match.

I personally think it should be 3 points for Gold, 2 for Silver and 1 for Bronze. Because I think it'd be bullshit if a Nation could get Bronze in every event, rack up like 50 medals and lose to a nation that has the most Golds with 9 or something.
