best player ever

Now you are just being a troll.

LeBron is a beast, no question about it. He's the perfect combination of speed, agility and raw power. He has the speed of Chris Paul, the power of Shaq and the moves like AI. He's a freak, no question about it. BUT he's not the GOAT. In a one on one game, Kobe or Jordan in their primes would kill LeBron. On the court, Kobe and MJ had a much better skill set than LeBron and they were never afraid to take the last shot. LeBron's limited by how much basketball he doesn't know. Right now he's in his prime, the peak of his physical abilities. For the next 3-4 years, the Heat will only lose if LeBron doesn't want to play. But best ever means he's that good into his 30's, and right now his skill set is not made for someone in their 30's. LeBron's skill set is made for a freakish 20's something in their prime dominating other teams and not having to worry about the last shot. This will be exposed in the playoffs like it has for every other year. The difference will be can LeBron step up like he did last year and not leave it to clutch time.

when lebron gets back to back 40+ points-10+ assists game in his 17th season, we'll start comparing him to kobe.

Overall career yes. When LeBron proves he can play into his 30's then we'll talk GOAT.

Once he gains a skill set to take him into his 30's, then I'll believe. Right now, he's Dr. J. He's better than everyone else physically, but how long will that carry him?

Dr. J in the NBA was in his late 20's and he was great, but once the 80's hit he was in his 30's and depending on others to carry the team. He was still NBA all team in the late 70's as part of the 76ers, but he didn't have a team around him. His career in the 76ers would have been LeBron right now if he stayed in Cleveland.

You really think Lebron is just gonna tail off at 30??  based on what?

Maybe 31 or 32, but based off the mileage on his legs and the fact his game is based off being the most physically dominate player ever. Once the speed and agility leaves, he can either develop into a jump shooter like MJ or Kobe, or become the Round Mount of Rebound like Barkley. But he wouldn't be the King forever and he'll have to adjust.

The only current players above him are all over 30 and he's above such young players like Pau Gasol, Jermaine O'Neal, Shane Battier and Marcus Camby. I wonder if Kobe will ever catch Kareem, or is he looking to retire sooner? Most everybody above Kobe is either a jump shooter or big man. That's very telling how long slashers like Kobe and MJ last, and those two adjusted their game later on.
