Another Spice 1 song featuring 2Pac has surfaced as we near the release of the Notorious Bastards mixtape. Already we've been treated to Rollin (Ft. 2Pac, Scarface & Devin Da Dude) & Trigga Gots No Heart (Ft. Twista & Game).

I don't think it's a Pac song, I really think it's an original Pac/Spice 1 collabo, hence Pac's dropping Spice's name in the song ("ain't nuthin nice in my life, I ask my n#@!a Spice") and it was produced by Blackjack, who also produced Jealous Got Me Strapped. Blackjack had also a song with Junior Mafia called Young G'z Perspective which came out on his own album "Addicted 2 Drama", released in '96, he talks about it in his dubcnn interview and said Can't Turn Back was supposed to be on that record as well.

I actually did another song with Pac called "I Can’t Turn Back" that was supposed to be on my album with Tommy Boy, but I actually had Biggie on that album and it was at the height of the east coast/west coast beef and the owner of that label didn't want to be bothered with trying to clear that song. It was dope because Pac loved my shit and he did a song for me without me even being there.


Dubcnn: So, what happened to that song I Cant Turn Back?

I think it came out on a label called Cell Block Records and it was on their compilation.

LOL... Who says besides you? I've had this in OG format on the CELLBLOCK II double CD compilation since the 90's.

I believe it was made for and by the artist "BLACKJACK"...

2-Pac,Spice-1 & Henn Gee "One Day At A Time" Spice's verse was added at a later time. However its his track and was a bonus song on "The Ridah" album..
