Matty is not making that up.  When the song first leaked Alex da Kid did have a statement something to the effect of "Thank you for believing in my version."  Not to say that the version I heard on the radio last night was the other version, but it sure the hell sounded like a Dre beat and hit much harder than the Alex da Kid pop beat.

I haven't heard that version again since.    My guess is that it was just a mix that some DJ did or something.  Too bad, because it sounded much better than the original, but now the same station keeps playing the original version over and over.
