I think Daz needs to work more with Roscoe, that boy is/was unfire.

They worked well together On Same Day Different Shit. Daz and Roscoe wrote that whole album together.

im very proud of u, William  :)
i have never seen u put any DoggPound-related music  in a "negative" context on this forum

this is ur first step out ur 12-step program-- gettin rid of the groupie-stanism,, and startin to look at things objectively without  the "suckin up"-loyalty.. you can still be a "fan", but without semen down the hatch

Generally I don't spend time thinking about an artists worst tracks, let alone discussing them on the Internet.

Do you feel that's time well spent?

what do u mean?   :eh:

i was givin u dap n props, son
u have spent 3500 posts on this forum, declain ur love for every Dpg-related song/album without lookin into it objectively n impartially,
n i was shocked/stunned when i saw ur post.
n im proud of u rite now, on the real Will. no hate  :)
ur sniffin and smellin on DPG-dicks before ur insertin 'em to ur rectum rite now, n thats real spit.. u never did it before

Real Talk Entertainment releases are much better than High Powered ones. Big Hollis, Cozmo and them are very good producers.

I kinda liked Gangsta Party TBH. The productions are a bit cheap that's true but some of the compositions are quite good IMHO. I fuck with tracks like Is This What U Want (feat. Redman) (i love the production lol), Gettin' Money (feat. E-40 & Kurupt), Tell Me What U Want (feat. Spice 1, San Quinn & Francci). And of course Caught Up In The Game, you can't go wrong sampling The Deele's Just My Luck. The rest is either average/trash but it was cool to see Daz do songs with rappers he hadn't done songs with in a long time (San Quinn, Jayo Felony, Spice 1, Redman, E-40)

but yeah actually Gangsta Party, along with Gangsta Crunk are Daz's worst albums for me. Maybe Matter Of Dayz too (though it has 2-3 very good songs).

i never really checked those Big Hollis-produced albums.. but i liked that Devin the Dude-album. shoot me some recomendatios tho, n ill add em on top of the "unbumped"-folder

Actually if i'm right Roscoe got credited because of Kurupt's deal with Death Row. Roscoe was credited on every song of "D&YG2" too. I think Kurupt got asked about this in some interview.

Interesting. It's obvious Kurupt is doing mostly his own stuff on the album, but I assumed Roscoe wrote the song structure, themes, hooks etc. and whatever else it took to get an album poppin.

Got a link to that interview homie?

I think every Daz album after TITLIL was at average at best. A toss up between Gangsta Crunk and Gangsta Party for worst.

Interesting.  I'd like to see that myself.  Roscoe is due for a new album.  His free Phili part 2 album nice.  Not trying to get off topic :)

Yeah Roscoe is one of the few on the West that could actually go mainstream, radio, the works. Why not be as big as Ross or Jigga,..I don't know what happened after Philaphornia, but that dude should've been signed to a major and blown up like fuck!

i was disappointed by that album when it dropped. the first "australian" version and then the retail version with all the skits. too many fillers for me. Daz sounds forced on a lot of tracks. the production is on point on half of the album and then you got experimental type tracks that i can't stand (skirt out). but the tracks I liked I fuckin liked lol. U Ain't Shit. I Got That Fire. Who Dem Niggaz. Let's Roll. Dogg Catcha (even that track I don't really like Daz on it but can't go wrong with an atomic dog sample), I'll beacho Azz.
