Bad Azz verse fit perfectly on that song

I mean Outlawz supposed to be on this song, but writing took too much time for them. Pac was in hurry and asked Bad Azz; do he has anything - he had so thats how song was made.

just cuz the Outlawz were supposed to be on the song doesn't mean that Bad Azz's verse wasn't dope.  in fact it was probably the most heard verse he ever spit in his life time.  gotta be.

Bad Azz had some decent tracks. And he was good on a lot of dpg related stuff. just had trouble holding down a whole record. Lot of rappers like that. Rage, Rbx, etc.

Nice thread...

Yeah I remember when the "Beware of My Crew" video came out and I saw him on video for the first time.  I have to say he did have that "IT" quality they talk about in the industry.  Seeing him shine on that record he stood out from the rest, and I was thinking to myself that he would blow up someday.

I was really hyped to get Word On The Streets when it dropped.  I remember Snoop hooked him up with a nice single, Snoop was sportin a No Limit jersey in the video.   But it became pretty clear bumpin the album that Bad Azz just didn't have enough content and vocab to carry a whole album.  He would of been perfect for an LBC Crew album but not as a solo artist.

That said, he did stumble into a gem on Word On The Streets with "The Last Time".  Don't know how much he really had to do with the track conceptually, but I've always felt that joint.

Always loved the way this song sounded in nice system

Yeah that was probably my favourite track that record. Nice, laid-back vibe.

Bad spits a decent verse on "Where U From" from the Dogg Chit record too:

Fred Wreck's remix of Who Ride Wit Us

Speaking of Fred Wreck produced Bad Azz tracks, can someone upload "Let's Roll, Baby" from Executive Decisions (alongside "Incredible Hulk" from that same record).
Thanks!

Here are some random Fred Wreck tracks with Bad Azz on them:

Bad Azz always been underrated, one of my favorites from DPG. It's a shame he never got any bigger. The LBC Crew would've went platinum for sure if it dropped back in 1996 and "Personal Business" should've sold more too. I like "Word On Tha Streets" more though, that's a personal classic to me. I got all of his albums except for that collabo album that dropped with Bizzy Bone. Bad Azz didn't even know that it came out, i asked him about it on Twitter when it dropped and he was askin me a link for it 'cause he had no idea that it was comin' out. He said he must've been real high when he agreed to release that album, but after that he was tellin' people to go and get it.
