Not a "Doggystyle" status when it comes to classic hip-hop albums but def a West Coast classic - best Kurupt album he released.

Solid album but not a classic. A good 8/10 though as it had many banging joints, it's like Kurupts version of Doggstyle minus Dre.
I actually think dogg food is his (their) version of doggystyle.

I consider it a classic. At the time i wasnt really feelin the track with goodie mob and it was kinda shit that they put hoes a house wife on there. They shoulda had a new Kurupt/Dre song for it. But i guess everything they recorded at the time ended up on 2001.

hoes a house wife was most likely Kurupts song and Dre took it for 2001

Of course it's a Kurupt song, the OG is on Kuruption. Dre did the remix in 98 and that was probably the first time the 2001 sound was heard, bringing out Hittman at the same time.

what i meant was that version was most likely for Kurupt

didn't elaborate enogh lol

It's a classic for Kurupt.  If you bought the CD when Dr. Dre 2001 came out, you had 2 CDs full of good stuff.  The West was on fire.  Up In Smoke, all the good stuff that's gone now.  I was lucky enough to see Up In Smoke tour, seen Kurupt with The Liks tour.  Good times.

It's a classic for me.  I can throw it in anytime.

OG is great and I like Kuruption very much!! People tripped out coz Kurupt had fallen off from the DR days. But in retrospect its some of his tightest music since

Best Kurupt and DPG album after Death Row era. Almost a westcoast classic.

It's a legit 4.5 out of 5. It was the perfect wrestcoast album, but I take off a little bit because he introduced his rhyming one word thing that he did at the end of his prime.... Like this...

Man what a bitch, gangsta shit
Fours scrape up the cement then bend
I never love me a ho
Just to remind y'all bitches in case you didn't know
I breaks fool all niggas, way cool all niggas
Fuck all y'all niggas, sawed off y'all niggas
And I'm quick to pull out
Gangsta shit, tell a bitch to stick a dick in her mouth

Now I'm pretty sure that was straight freestyle, but he did it so much later. Still, the rest of that album, pure westcoast classic. Not a bad song, not even Represent da GC, which I took those lyrics from. But I listened to that song so much... LOL

Hmmm..it's complicated..it's near a classic..4.5/5

Who Ride With Us is pure heat.

Welcome Home is perfect

Tequila is vicious

It's All About You..bang!!!!!!

Ho's Housewife,Dat DPGC, My Homeboyz..Callin Out Names,I Call Shots

Never Gonna Give It Up is a anthem.

But some other tracks are AVERAGE. Like Girl All Pause...this song is good on accapella version. (Nate Dogg killed this) the beat is wack
