*Scratches 213 off most anticipated West Coast release*

Jay and Luda definitely rip tracks and Just Blaze and Timbo definitely make ill beats but I was expecting a more West Coast album.

Its funny how people are saying all this negative shit about the 213 album when it's release date hasnt even been confirmed yet.  No matter what people say, yall know this album is gona be fucking amazing...People be hating on a JayZ appearance??? Whats wrong with JayZ?  Hov's been making fucking dope music and putting it down better than Snoop and anyone else so what, you think they wont make a dope track w JayZ?  Personally, I cant wait to hear Snoop and Nate and Warren rip some shit over Just Blaze and Timbaland and The Neptunes.  That shit woulld be off the hook.  And you know Warren , Quick , Fredwreck ect will all produce tracks featuring some great westcoast acts as well.  I bet Dre will even get down on this one, and IMO they gona make a classic album.  Right now I think yall should stop the hate and let it marinate. ;)

i know jay-z is a good rapper and all...but this album should be an westcoast album...the damn group is called the "213"...thats the neiboorhood they grew up in...its representin LBC...the westcoast...they should ONLY feature westcoast rappers and producers...and im pretty sure most of the fans would want it that way...i don't wanna hear no fucking neptunes or timbaland beats on this kind of album...they should just make some g-funk shit like how warren G always does it...that will perfectly fit the album...i mean ask any westcoast rap fan...i'm pretty sure they would want that too...

Yea I agree. Fuck a Jay-Z, fabulous or Leprechaun Dupri on a 213 album. They should make it like the first Eastsidaz album, strictly SoCal only - raps and production - and let everyone else stay at home. I really hope they don't just make this a sell-out album, that would disappoint a lot of the real supporters out there.

this is fucked.....WTF???  is this gonna be all eastcoasted out or what?  FUK.

and for yall Jay Z and Neptunes lovers out there.....there ain't nuthin wrong with them.  I guess they can make good music, but it's "Disposable" music.  it sounds good for now...but then gets old. QUICK.  it gets played out.  it ain't classic shit.  nobody is ever gonna remember these top ten hits years from now.  shit even a year ago.  peeps around here don't bump jay z shit from a year ago.  why?  cuase it's played out.  it was hip back then.  it sucks now.

classic west coast shit never gets old.  EXAMPLE: when nate's Music and ME came out...I thought it was aight album.  it was new.  something fresh for the moment.  but now?? SHIT.  I don't even want to look at it. I'm too busy bumpin G Funk Classic from back in the day.  that was a soulful album.  not all fuking main stream like music and me.  yall feel me?  I don't want this 213 album to be another Music and ME.  I want it some Regulate type shit on there.  some Doggystle shit.  shit, get some of Dre's Chronic Funk to be on there.  not this fuking chuuch to da palace.  nobody remembers that kind of garbage.  shit.

The that makes me laugh is that ya'll REALLY thought  that it wouldn't have people like this on the LP? 213 are commercial artists. G Funk etc has all been & gone. If you want to sell an LP you NEED to have people like the Neptunes & Timbaland on there. It's the only way, do you think they really care about 100+ peeps on a forum on the internet? when they can go on to sell 500,000+ to the rest of the world?!

As much as I would love to have the LP soley produced by the G-Child - It ain't gonna happen.

nah...g funk has gone nowhere, cause we (the real fans) are all still listening to g funk...and we want this 213 project like it should be...a true westcoast g funk album from the beginning to the end (without any pop rappers or eastcoast producers). nothing wrong with that...

...if they are only coming with those shitty appereances to make it more commercial then...ughh....shit..then its not a 213 album for me.

exactly, I don't see why people can't understand this.  The greatest albums made by these guys were strictly g-funk and strictly westcoast, and they were fucking classic albums.  The only thing that putting those guests on the album is piss off the real fans of these rappers.  As a matter of fact, if half of those guests appear on the album, I ain't gonna buy it, and I won't buy another album by snoop or nate.  Shit I have spent hella money on these rappers albums, buying all of them, but if they are just gonna do bullshit like this then fuck em, I  would much rather support the independent underground artists that make music cause they wanna make great music.

bullshit.................they really don't need the neptunes and timbo to sell this here's why:

1)snoop is a big star and no matter what song he comes with it will get a chance at radio play, especially with nate on the hook cause he is also a proven hit maker on hooks

2) dre is gonna produce he is still a bigger hit maker than either of those and if he produces a song for them it will no doubt be big!!!

3) people dill buy a westcoast cd with westcoast stars if they make a tight as westcoaast cd exp.- dr dre 2001

me personally i wouldn't mind if they had maybe 1 neptunes beat, and a timbo beat, and even 1 jd beat if all the rest were dj quick warren dre fred wreck ect

the one thing that cannot happen is jd talkin in the background throughout the song and pharrel doing a hook
"its tha pimp of tha crew soopafly comin through wit a dick and a couple balls just to name a few"-soopafly

looks like some guys on this board wanna see 213 selling huge numbers with eastcoast cats or pop artists instead of getting a pure westcoast related 213 album. 213 is a group of three famous g funk artists who made their solo careers and now they are back at where it all began, just these three artists. i dont care about how much a 213 album will sell...this should be about g funk music, not trying to push huge units (with the help of artists who has nothing to do with 213 or g funk) just to make a bunch of money.

I know I'm gonna take a BUNCH of shit for saying this,

But I think Nate and J.D. sound fresh together. Does anybody remember "whatever" from J.D's album "Instructions"??? That track had a nice little vibe to it. It always gets my party's jumping and people really like the track. As long as He's not rapping, Jermaine Dupri makes some nice party type beats. I don't really have a problem with J.D. but neptunes and timbaland just shouldn't do it...

Here's hoping that the neptunes and timbaland tracks are some of the 30 that are gonna be left off.

Nah man for me 213 should be History like Chronic,Doggystyle,Dogg Food, Regulate etc...but do you think it will be a classic record if they use the same sound over and over again? c'mon now ...and Im sure that Neptunes or whoever will produce something that fits to their style and again if they wanna Hit records they have to think about everybody not only the internet fans..Think about it do you think Dr.Dre was like "Shit man I hope fans are gonna feel this"  nah man he did something different and gain more fans of his style

I ain't jumpin' into any conclusions, 'cause looking back on the making of pretty much every album that's been made ever since I started paying attention to this shit, the guests, producers, tracks, singles, release dates and titles have changed. Some albums have had minor changes, some major ones, and this album's gonna have changes too. And I'm sure the news we'll be hearing a couple of months before the release are more closer to the truth than anything we're getting now.

But, if all those peeps would end up being on the album, I'd be hella pissed. Nate & Snoop have done enough stuff outside their family to establish themselves, I'm hopin' they do it like a Warren G record and have nothing but their closest peeps there. The West Coast peeps, Quik, Dre, Westside Connection, DPG... I'd tolerate it if Timbo dropped a beat or maybe two on there or Jay-Z was a guest on a track, but all them cats? Oh HELL NO.

Lucky me though, that this shit ain't nuthin' but rumours.
