Very boring sounding album. Compared to Napalm, a few good songs and the best songs were already released months ago.

i don't think boring but nothing special at all. there's no song that i want to listen to again. what's your favorite albums released in last 2 years? it's really getting hard to find something new and good for old heads like us

IMO, Hip-Hop is dead. Also, music in general is dead, 2013-2018 had a decent run, but music is the same shit I heard all before. Beats are not exciting anymore either. It had a good run.

Completely agree, old beats sound fresh even now days, but all new music is boring and forgettable

My opinion is I really dig the album. I underhand the album was completed awhile ago but X wanted to find a label that was wiling to make it a big release. He did that with Greenback Records - https://www.instagram.com/greenbackrecords/?hl=en

I purchased a couple of physical copies prior to hearing the album and I am glad I did.

Some might have higher expectations but the past few years we have been blessed with a lot of dope rappers dropping albums - what a time to be alive. Here are some I followed / listened to since 1.1.2024.

No diss here.. but I don't see how anyone can say hip hop is dead. I noted tons of classic artists who dropped albums in the past 17 months. Many are dope albums. That new Lloyd Banks album is great!

Also, on the west Mozzy continues to drop album after album. I dig his material. I'm also a Berner fan. Some may not like him but he keeps dropping new stuff. Also, C-Bo has been dropping new music. Pull Up is dope from C-Bo, The Mob Related album from 2022 is dope as well with DZ.... Better Day straight rides! Speaking of Berner he just dropped an EP on 5/5/25 w/ Mando.. Saucy is dope. Hoffa album was dope. Gotti was dope with Too Many Goats... Hell he dropped an EP on 4/11/25 with Mid Flight. It rides too.. so much dope music continues to drop IMHO.

I might not be a fan of a lot of new hip hop artists but there is plenty of dope music constantly dropping. Not only do I buy albums (bought cassette and CD from Xzibit for the new drop) but I stream content and buy some via iTunes.
