How long before Snoop loses patience and releases a quick thrown together album to get something out there, which in turn, ruins the mystique of the new album that Dre wants and now Dre backs out and the whole thing is done?
lol he just did that with the Dogg pound album

both true

somehow I have the feeling it will come out as Dre intended but what do I know

I am trying to remember the last album that Dre produced for someone that he did the majority of the tracks? was it Relapse?

I just listened to Outta da Blue again for the first time since it dropped…and wtf??   Snoop sounds EXACTLY how I’m hoping he will for this album, and Dre sounds decent as well; the back and forth verses are what is missing from hip hop nowadays.  BUT, the production and chorus are utter trash…the worst production I’ve ever heard either spit on (and Snoop has rapped over some horrible beats over the years)

Yep. That horrible bollywood vocal sample and cow bells. I dont get it, why not keep it simple and make funkgrooves. They allready have created the formula back in the days, just mature the lyrical content and i bet the old fans will like it.

My hope is that given the promo, it's actually good.

Marsha's came and went for me, personally, but i know a lot of people dug it. Maybe it will grow on me.

The fact that Dre is outside and doing interviews speaking on the album means it’s coming.  And Snoop is probably the most visible person in entertainment right now.  There’s a lot of talk about the album happening not only by Dre and Snoop, but by others in the industry.  And obviously this album is being promoted by the Gin and Juice drink as well.

Where?  Other than dedicated rap fans searching out little tidbits of information in unrelated Snoop interviews, i haven't seen any mainstream promo for this album or anyone doing an interview or podcast about this specific album.

It's always "Snoop and the olympics" or Dre and the Gin and Juice drinks, and then during the interview, one of them might casually say "yeah Dre and I are back in the studio" or "Dre and I might be working on something"...

That's hardly a major promo run.

no doubt …. seems like he’s had an inordinate amount of opportunity to promo the album and hasn’t taken advantage
