Jelly takes a verse of his own on the song while also singing the chorus featured on Petty’s original version. After finishing the performance, Snoop took out a blunt and lighter, and walked back over to Jelly to share with him. “Oh he’s lighting a fresh one,” Jelly said before he and Snoop both took a few puffs onstage.Snoop performed several of his own songs before debuting the Jelly Roll collab too, including his classics “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” “Gin and Juice,” and “Next Episode.”“Last Dance With Mary Jane” will release with the rest of Missionary on Dec. 13. Other artists featured on the Dr. Dre-produced project include Eminem, 50 Cent, and Jhené Aiko among others.
Guess this was from a Jelly Roll show and not Snoops upcoming Amazon show.Nonetheless this track sounds fucking sick and can’t wait to hear the album version. Wish it was longer with another verse from Snoop on it tho.
Agreed- another Snoop verse needed.

Don’t know why but when the album was first announced I first imagined the Joe cool Snoop in a robe with Dre preaching as a missionary converting the masses with their music. I suppose similar to the welcome to tha chuuch cover like an updated one. Didn’t think they would go with the obvious simple sex angle.
