maybe we have to realize that Dre and Snoop just don't have it anymore

that's the only reason I can come up with

I think they still have it - Snoop sounds good and so far no 's-n-double-o-p, l-b-c-, 1-2-3' rhymes and his cadence and flow is dope, just not is classic smooth flow.
It's just not the sound that we are used to or hoping for, but personally I like the change in direction.

We just have to accept Dre won't go back to that classic sound from the 90's and 00's that we grew up with.

We don’t expect g funk or 2001… but if you think these tracks are at any level to Dr Dre standards then you only playing yourself!

Dre scrapped so many great projects as a perfectionist & set the expectations so high that he is now struggling to deliver so far… I don’t hate what I’ve heard but they are not to Dre standards & to have a leaked track like Outta Da Blue feature as a single is just a poor choice!

He did better production on Em’s last album & if Kendrick can make music that’s hitting consecutive no.1’s with that west coast feel, then you suckaz saying this album is not for original fans or is not made for west coast are just stupid cause clearly that sound still hitting right!

Why do I want to shoot you

This new one is more infectious to me, I will it was just Snoop alone with another verse.

I like them in this order.

1) Another Part of Me
2) Gorgeous
3) Outta Da Blue

I totally understand how everyone is feeling about the direction they took (with what we have heard).

I was also expecting stuff like B**** Please, F**k ‘Em, Hennessy N Buddah but so far none of that, still hoping I will get like 4 of those from the other 12 tracks.

Another Part of Me is my favourite so far. I  also really like Gorgeous and Outta Da blue has grown on me but I understand why people don't like it.

I would bet that we won't hear the 2000's Dre sound at all on this album.

snoops lyrics been on point on all the joints so far., it’s just the lackluster production that’s a let down. Snoops had yes men for years but I didn’t expect him to turn into another one of Dre’s yes men. I think back to that skit on Erick Sermons Music Album something similar  to that going down

wouldn't call the production lackluster, just not the right sound..it's all a bit too polished and mainstream

I just looked at the itune charts of different countries USA Hip Hop Charts from # 1 to 5 Kendrick Lamar, Germany #14 Kendrick Lamar #1 Another Part of Me, Sweden too, maybe that's why there is a shared mood here every country has its music direction

I don't think Dre will go back to the 70's/80's funk samples even with a new twist.
It's been re-hashed to death. Having said that, Gorgeous is as funk influenced as we may get from Dre.

Snoop is a worldwide icon, the most recognizable face in the world. They're going to make music in that character, with a story behind it, backed by major money. The project will be more pop-oriented and influenced by global trends. I am calm now.

Too bad that the track with October London is not on it he said that it is influenced by Marvin Gaye

snoop should've kept kid cudi on another part of me, song falls off when he starts rapping and the trash sting verse, snoop should've sang throughout the whole song like he did on the bush album.
