Boy, you're really not good at this. I am getting a little bored, but I'll humor you:

Your attempt to draw a parallel between neo-Nazis and white supremacists attending pro-Palestinian rallies and the Charlottesville rally is, in fact, a false equivalence itself. The key difference here lies in the nature of the events and the core purpose of the rally.

In Charlottesville, the event was organized specifically by white nationalists, neo-Nazis, and other extremist groups to protest the removal of a Confederate statue—a symbol that is deeply tied to racism and the defense of slavery in American history. That is fundamentally different because the organizers and the central theme of the rally were directly linked to white nationalist ideology. The purpose of the rally was to defend a symbol of white supremacy (the Confederate statue), making it impossible to separate “very fine people” from those core beliefs. In this case, any attempt to dissociate “fine people” from the hateful ideologies present is misleading.

So your comparison fails because it ignores the intent and focus of the Charlottesville rally. Attending a rally that is founded on white supremacist ideologies is not the same as attending a rally on a political or humanitarian issue where extremist individuals may be present but are not representative of the core cause.

By misapplying this analogy, you once again evade addressing the inherent contradiction in Trump’s remarks and the reality of what was at stake during the Charlottesville event. You are deflecting from the core issue—Trump’s failure to fully and consistently denounce the ideologies that underpinned the rally—and instead, creating a comparison that doesn’t hold up under scrutiny.

It’s pretty ironic that you’re now complaining about the length of my responses when it was you who dragged this conversation away from Ice Cube and into a debate about Trump’s racist actions. I addressed your points in detail because you kept disputing well-documented facts and mischaracterizing historical events, which required a thorough response.

This whole conversation was originally about Ice Cube’s actions and values, but you were the one who shifted the focus to my political affiliation, trying to make this about whether or not I support a particular candidate, using that as a reason to avoid engaging with the actual evidence and arguments presented.

I’ve been consistent in staying on topic and responding to your challenges. The only reason the discussion has moved away from Ice Cube is because you shifted it to defending Trump’s actions. If you keep challenging basic facts or dodging points with personal attacks, it’s going to take more than one-liners to properly respond.

read the room genius

Reading the room means understanding that this discussion started about Ice Cube’s actions and values, and it’s telling how quickly things got derailed into political slights and groupthink. If the only way to respond to well-reasoned arguments is with dismissive comments and trying to silence me rather than engage, that speaks volumes about the strength of your position.

You continue to use personal insults and misapplied terms. Throwing out words like ‘sociopath’ and 'autism' without understanding what they mean (Not only is this inaccurate, but it’s also disrespectful to people who live with these conditions) or suggesting I need a therapist doesn’t contribute anything of value to the conversation and only highlights the lack of substance in your counterpoints. Continuing with baseless insults just detracts from the discussion about Ice Cube and his actions, which is where this conversation started in the first place.

with all due respect, i’m not using autism as an insult ..

i’m genuinely asking if you’re autistic because you seem to be socially unaware of what’s going on around you + u hang on every words literal definition instead of properly contextualizing

so you’re either doing it unintentionally (austistic) or on purpose (sociopath)

Your continued use of terms like ‘autistic’ and ‘sociopath’ is concerning, especially since you’re misusing them. Autism is not about ‘hanging on every word’s literal definition’; it’s a neurodevelopmental condition that has nothing to do with what you’re describing. Rather, it involves differences in social communication, not an inability to understand context or an obsession with literal definitions. Similarly, ‘sociopath’ refers to something entirely different—antisocial behavior, a lack of empathy, and manipulativeness. These aren’t appropriate or accurate terms for what’s happening here. Needless to say, you're in no position at all to be clinically assessing or diagnosing anyone.

So, it seems it is you that is misunderstanding or deliberately misusing these terms in a way that perpetuates harmful stereotypes.

Your claim that I am “socially unaware” of what’s happening around me seems out of place, especially in the context of an online forum without direct physical or social cues. Social awareness here is more about understanding the flow of conversation and sticking to the topic (which is what I have been trying to do as it relates to Ice Cube) rather than navigating complex social dynamics as one would in a face-to-face interaction. In an online forum, the focus should be on the quality of arguments, not on some imagined social faux pas.

Throughout this exchange, you have resorted to personal attacks, contradictions, and irrelevant tangents. You lack either the capacity or willingness to engage with the conversation in good faith.

It is usually more productive to engage in a well-reasoned dialogue with someone you disagree with but you are proving to be quite the special case.
