On Tuesday, November 23, 2004 what is the 11th anniversary of Doggystyle, Snoop's album that dropped on November 23, 1993. I was 11 years old at the time and in 6th grade. Where were you on that day?

I was 13 in 7th grade. That night my aunt went to rent movies at Wherehouse, which at the time had a movie rental place. I went for the ride, and it just so happened I saved up about $13 from lunch money. That day I bought Doggystyle on tape, since I didn't have a CD player. I was very happy. Then when I bought the CD, I was mad that I didn't get G'z Up Hoez Down... lol. Oh well. still, a classic.

I was in 8th grade.  I remember riding the bus on the way home and I couldn't wait so I could go buy that TAPE.  I actually got it on the 19th because the local mom & pop store (Berry's Music) always released shit early.  I had to walk up the store in the cold ( a 20 mintue walk!)

I was in 7th grade. I remember just crackin' that shit open and listening to it in my room and reading the comic. The memory that hits me the most is when I first heard "Lodi Dodi" that beat was so infectious and Snoop flowed over it perfectly. That song blew my mind.

I was 7, and I was probably watching some kids show..and thought Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit was one scary ass video. I didn't even know what rap music was.

I was 10 yrs old in grade 5. I dont remember anticipation towards the release date. I just got my hands on a dubbed tape off my cuzins cassette that he copped. Thats how I got into hip hop. My cuzins dubs.

Lodi Dodi was one of the immediate stand outs for me too, his flow was too dope. Thats all me and my cousins would rap for like 6 months, verses off Lodi Dodi. Serial Killa, Aint No Fun, shit the whole motherfuckin album.

I was 18 years old, first year in college. I still remember how everyone I knew was anticipating this album. We were literally counting down the days. I bought it on tape the day it came out.
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.
