After a long hiatus Ice Cube is back on your radio's. He returns with two tracks, "Chrome & Paint" which features fellow veteran and Westside Connection member WC and "A Lotta That" which features Snoop Dogg. Both records are currently getting spins on radio across L.A on Power 106. We have a radio rip of "Chrome & Paint" which features WC for your listening pleasure as i've had nothing but requests to hear it all week! With thanks to the dubcnn forums own, NeoSoul. In related news Ice Cube was in Las Vegas on October 9th shooting a video for this very track. He was in town to perform at the Lowrider Magazine 2005 Super Show at Cashman Field Center and utilised the Vegas backdrop. According to Matt Alvarez, Ice Cube's partner in his Cube Vision company, The Cashman show drew hundreds of lowered and chopped cars equipped with special hydraulics and adorned with murals and was the initial location for the shoot, the video was then expected to shift to the Fremont Street Experience for additional filming, requiring a shutdown of Casino Center Boulevard between Carson and Ogden streets. Three camera crews were expected to catch all the action, with Marcus Raboy, who directed Cube in the 2002 comedy "The Friday After Next," called the shots for the video, which should hit MTV, BET etc later in the month. i think its not the beat, its the quality thats shitty, cause i heard it on kday radio and it sounded much better, the quality of the beat is horrible (the one that uploaded)

Remove it so people who aren't around the area of airplay dont get to hear it?! This as the update CLEARLY states is just so people can hear it asap, we will have the CDQ version of both tracks soon so its just a precursor. Enjoy it for what it is.

This is a cool track in my opinion. I wasn't really feeling the beat at first, but the beat and Cube's and Dub's flow together sound real good. If the better quality version really sounds better like folks here say, then it's all good. Bring this new shit to the record store Ice Cube, it's about damn time.
