 Up and coming producers The OCS first appeared on Dubcnn in 2010 with plans to create a project that embodied the evolution of West Coast Hip-Hop by showcasing underrated talent. The Cali natives planned to release "The RPD20X" - which stands for Respect Past Due in 2010 - in 2010 and dropped the street single entitled Hometown with Glasses Malone, Jay Rock and XO.
That single was followed up with a Music Video for Hometown a few months later with "The RPD20X" expected later that same summer.
We are back today as "The RPD20X" project didn't drop as expected but will at long last next week on May 8th 2012. The release - which features Kendrick Lamar, Nipsey Hussle, Fashawn, Crooked I, Jay Rock and many more - is hugely anticipated by the Dubcnn team after the strength of the Hometown single and today we can share the second single "Bad Side" with you that features Nipsey Hussle, Fashawn and Jay Rock.
 The heavy guitar driven track - Produced By Capital & Mike Angelo - features a perfect mix of backpack meets street with verses from three westcoast heavyweights in Nipsey Hussle, Fashawn and Jay Rock - check it below and the cover to the right.

 With the release of "80's Baby" only weeks away - the follow up to his 2008 Pipe Dreams and last years Do Not Pass Go Do Not Collect $200 - Watts representer Six Reasons is getting fans ready for more new music.
Over the last 12 months Six Reasons has brought us footage of him and The Game LIVE in Arizona at The Venue Scottsdale as well as dropping the video to his latest record Raindance featuring Too Short and a Behind The Scenes look of that shoot.
He followed that up with the video for Shotgun featuring Constantine before dropping the single Runnin' For President as well as a music video earlier this year.
In recent weeks he's also dropped a video for I Need A Cape featuring Prophet that will appear on the "80's Baby" project and was at SXSW last month, which culminated with a performance on the Vibe House stage alongside hip-hop heavyweights, such as Snoop Dogg, Timbaland and Nipsey Hussle - a journey we brought you visually with six Reasons "The Road to SXSW 2012".
A little over a week ago we brought you Keep It 100 from the DJ Skee presented project "80's Baby" and today we are back with another record entitled "Silly Arguments" - featuring Choir Boi over a production by Starr Lab - listen below.

 Erbin and Biologik better known as All Angles dropped their collaboration project Infinit Angles - The Roscoe Sessions with Infinit P'Tenchul for free download on Dubcnn in early 2011 to critical acclaim. Then in late August they announced on Dubcnn that "City Of Angles" was the name of upcoming album and we dropped the first single from the project entitled All We Do which featured Zapata The Ghost and Robbs The One over a production by Erbin mixed by Brown Caeser.
In September we followed up with the title track City Of Angles as well as the music video before dropping the the Full Free Download of City Of Angles alongside the Yello Blac featured track Perfect 10.
Today we are back as the video for Perfect 10 has just been released to give the City Of Angles a fresh push this year and you can watch it below. The video is directed by Demetrius Navarro and features the model Erlinda from Estevan Oriol's book 'LA Woman.'

 In late 2010 we dropped the exclusive news that Chico & Coolwadda had reformed and were planning to record new material [see; Did I Hear That Right? Chico & Coolwadda Reform!]. One half of that duo Coolwadda aka Coolie High has been steadily releasing solo material via his Cool Ppl Entertainment imprint including the single Paranoid, the mixtape Coolie Say's Hes High and then Ghetto Camping Out featuring The Ugly Gang from his "Legalizing Business EP" early in 2011.
Having dropped some C&C reunion records across 2011 including Let Me Know, PCH featuring Cali Classic and the Jazon featured La La they made it clear the reunion was happening and new material was bring recorded.
Last week was 4/20 and Coolwadda aka Coolie High released the follow up to Coolie Say's Hes High Part 1 from 2010. "Coolie Say's Hes High Part 2" can be downloaded for free below and features artists including Kokane, Mr. Kushington, Jayzon, Sinister Pack, YG Sopreno, Mac Dre, Fata, XL Middleton, Dr. Stank, Genesis Ian and more.

 Aceman is a name Dubcnn regulars will've noticed in the credits of records over the last year or so on Dubcnn. The up and coming young producer Aceman hails from Slovakia and has already laced beats for singles you will be familiar with including Kicks from No One (Dae One & Noni Spitz), Every Bitch Pay by Harold Blue as well as the 2008 track from N.U.G. called All I Know featuring Tekneek aka Tek Nizzle of Tangled Thoughts and Kurupt.
At the start of this year Aceman announced on Dubcnn that he was getting read to drop his own project, an EP titled "Westcoast Ubiquity," that will feature Focus..., No One (Noni Spitz and Dae One), Al Stylez, Noetic, Smokey Lane, Big Chan, Lil Bam, XL Middleton, Harold Blue and more. In that update we dropped the first track from "Westcoast Ubiquity" that saw Al Stylez and Smokey Lane combine for Swaggnificent.

 Last week we got familiar once again with Compton sensation, Young Hootie aka YG Hootie, who first appeared on Dubcnn in 2005 with Larceny Entertainment when they unleashed "Prince Of The Bity" which earned a 3 out of 5 Dubcnn Review rating and a spot as Unsigned Hype in The Source Magazine.
In 2007 he was back on Dubcnn with the solo mixtape The Culmination for free download featuring Tiny Doo, G. Malone, Problem, Kila Krock, El Dorado Red and B-Dot before dropping a remix over the Sean Kingston record "Take You There" [Take You There Remix] produced by J.R. Rottem.
Since then we'd fallen quiet on Hootie until last year when we Interviewed A-Wax who let slip he was planning a collaboration album with YG Hootie after dropping Nightmare From Elm Street Vol. 3 - The Street Tape on which he featured.
Last week we announced that the Los Angeles native and Brick Squad Monopoly rapper YG Hootie had teamed up with Bay Area rapper A-Wax for a release entitled "Interstate Trafficking" that will drop via BSM/Illburn Records on May 29th, in that same update we dropped the video for the buzz single LA 2 The Bay as well as the lead single Make Room featuring Brick Squad head honcho Gucci Mane.
Today we return with news that the release date has slipped to July 17th but will feature Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka Flame, Too $hort. To stem the wait the duo have just released the album's second music video, for the track "Doin' Something Wrong" directed by Sigmond IV - watch it below.

 Dubcnn last caught up with former First Lady of Aftermath, Shari Watson, aka Truth Hurts, for an Exclusive Interview back in 2009 as part of our "Womans Touch" series to catch up on her moves having parted with Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment.
In that Exclusive Interview Truth brought us up to speed with what she’s been up to, set the record straight on her departure from Aftermath, talked about working with Dr. Dre, Raphael Saadiq, Mel-Man, and DJ Quik and tells us what we can expect from her in the near future.

 On 4/20, Daz & Kurupt returned with a new mixtape called "DPGC'ology", which was released for free, presented by DJ Nik Bean. Guest appearances include Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz, 8 Ball, E-40, Kokane, Dom Kennedy, Khujo, Tha Chill and The Hustle Boyz.
As many of the fans were complaining about the tags on the mixtape and requested a full, untagged, CDQ version of "DPGC'ology", the artists obliged and released an untagged version on iTunes yesterday. Enjoy!

Last week we announced that Warren G, just days after he shared the Coachella 2012 Stage with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac & More, was on Power 106 to announce a new record with Game and Nate Dogg called "Party We Will Throw Now" [Watch the Party We Will Throw Now Teaser on Power 106.
Following the sudden death of Nate Dogg in March last year [see; Breaking News: Legendary West Coast Singer Nathaniel Dwayne Hale aka Nate Dogg Dead At 41] we as a team at Dubcnn spent weeks developing our Remembering Nate Dogg tribute.
During that time we conducted a series of interviews and spoke to artists including E-40, Battlecat, Kokane, Frank Nitty, The Lady Of Rage, Fredwreck, DJ Quik, Bad Azz as well as long term friend and collaborator Warren G. Shortly after that Warren wrote and record a dedication record, titled This Is Dedicated To You, featuring the incredible voice of LaToiya Williams - a track they released on iTunes with the proceeds going directly to Nate's family.
Since then Warren has been touring heavily with Snoop Dogg [including the Manchester International Festival in the UK which we release photo and video from] as well as appearing on music including producing the Young Jeezy and Ne-Yo "Leave You Alone" [see Video of Jeezy in the Studio With Warren G & DJ Quik] and most recently You Gotta Pay Me (Remix) alongside Gunplay & Bleu DaVinci for Messy Marv.

 All you squares better take heed! This summer, Hip-Hop's most notorious pimp Suga Free will be teaming up with his protege, fellow Pomona representative Pimpin' Young to release not one, but two albums filled with game and wisdom: "Thunder & Lightning". The first volume is entitled "Hear My Thunder" and the second one "Feel My Lightning".
With almost 15 years of experience in the rap game and even more than that as a pimp, Suga Free felt that the time had come for him to bring forward one of his long time comrades, Pomona Pimpin' Young, of the Pomona City Ridaz.
The album features guest appearances from Twista, LaToiya Williams, Bizzy Bone, Bad Azz, Audio Push, Mr. Silky Slim, Pomona City Ridaz and more.

 Dubcnn hit the road overseas with Nipsey Hussle and brings you an exclusive feature with Neighborhood Nip live from Amsterdam. Check out live performances from some of his dopest records, including "Hussle In The House", "Fly Crippin" and "This Plane". We also interviewed Nipsey while roaming the streets in Amsterdam.
Nip tells us about his experience in Europe and we find out that he's planning a new project for the summer. We also get some insight on his new partnership with DJ Skee and how it's going to help advance Nip's career.
We speak about his experiences in the music industry and why he would never sign an artist record deal. We end off the interview with a few words about the West Coast and the new energy that's reigning on the coast with up and coming artists such as himself, Kendrick, YG and Tyga succeeding.

 Blu Division artist and Glasses Malone protege had a busy 2011 preparing his latest release, the follow up to last years street album Pass Or Fail.
"Dope Kicks Fresh Hat" is being readied for release later this year and as per our recent updates Quiz is dropping a series of freestyle viral videos and songs in the leadup to the new album. A little over six months ago we brought you a video freestyle to Super High followed but the single Start It Up and the music video over the Lloyd Banks record of the same name followed by Devil In A New Dress and its music video over the Kanye record of the same name.
 The last time we heard from Quiz on the solo tip was a freestyle over the under-used J. Cole instrumental for Workout (Freestyle), today we have a new record from the talented and hungry young MC called "Money" produced by another Dubcnn regular Sega - check it below.

 Belly - who burst on to the music scene and Dubcnn in 2007 with his hit single "Pressure" with Ginuwine and released his full length album "The Revolution" - was back on Dubcnn late last year with the release of his DJ Drama presented The Greatest Dream I Never Had mixtape, available for free download.
Since 2007 he's dropped singles including A History Of Violence and I'm The Man alongside Kurupt as well as the Dubcnn Exclusive track entitled Wanted.
2011 saw him release new music including the lead single from The Greatest Dream I Never Had featuring Snoop Dogg called I Drink I Smoke produced by Hugo Diaz (Pitbull, DJ Khaled, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, Trina) and mixed by Noah "40" Shebib (Drake, Lil Wayne, Alicia Keys) - a single that he soon followed up with Purple Drugs.
Late in the year we also brought you footage of his Listening Session & Live Performance in Toronto which also featured his good friend French Montana. In that footage he performed his single "Num8ers" from The Greatest Dream I Never Had - and we follwed it up with the Num8ers Music Video directed by Footage.

In that May 2011 update we brought you two records, the first being the Raw Steele produced My Way from his then to be released "Actions Speak Louder Than Words" project and also a record off a planned collaboration project with Dubble O Beez of the Mary Jane Junkees [who you may remember from the Mistah FAB featured single Strutin' from June 2009].
That group name was Monkey Beezness and with plans for an album to be produced by Dave Moss, XL Middleton and Lyrikal Beats they released High Note as a sampler of what they were working on.
In February we are back for the first time in over six months with news that Monkey Beezness is still going ahead and dropped the video fro their Sleep single. Today we are back with another video, this time for the cut "LSD"

 Matt Allenn first emerged on Dubcnn in 2009 with the DJ Ill Will & DJ Rockstar hosted project We Got The Juice Vol. 1 as part of The Juice County Allstars - a foursome consisting of M.A., Champ, Kali, & Buddy P.
Following that release Matt Allenn aka M.A. dropped the solo record Soldier with Hot Dolla and Topic and then Put My City On featuring Juice County Allstars member Champ and Tommy Vonjo with production from Anthem.
Both these singles were said to be from his upcoming debut solo LP "N 2 Deep" and in mid 2011 he dropped the video for Soldier.
Towards the end of the year he announced he planned to release a self-titled EP at the turn of 2012 called "Matt Allenn EP" and in the weeks that followed he dropped back to back singles on Dubcnn including Go Up featuring Kid Ink and Dominic and then 4 Quarters.
Earlier this year we dropped the full Matt Allenn EP for free download as well as the video for Grand Slam which was produced by T.H.X and directed by James Curtis/GorillaFlix. Today we are back with another video from the Matt Allenn EP this time for the track "Break It Down" produced by Ky Piffa and directed by Calmatic

 If the name Merc100Man doesn’t ring a bell, then maybe Merciless of the pioneer group Funky Aztecs does. As the chief architect behind the group, Vallejo rapper Merc debuted in 1991 with “Chicano Blues”, which featured collaborations with the legend 2Pac Shakur (watch the video to "Slippin' Into Darkness") and Digital Underground. Between ’91 and ’99, the Funky Aztecs released three albums together, blending the gangster mentality with the militant mindstate carried by artists such as Tupac, Ice Cube and Scarface.
After the last Funky Aztecs album, Merciless joined the all-star super group Lone Star Ridaz, along with fellow Vallejo artist Baby Bash, South Park Mexican as well as producer Happy Perez (Paul Wall, Chamillionaire, Juvenile). The group released two albums, “Wanted” and “40 Dayz / 40 Nightz”.
After releasing two solo albums, Merciless was arrested in 2008 for possession of marijuana in Texas and began serving a two-year sentence in 2010. Now, after almost two years in prison, he is back on the scene and ready to get back in the game. He has three albums locked and loaded, the first one being “Déjà Vu – Volume 1”, set for an April 24th 2012 release date.
“Déjà Vu – Volume 1” features production from platinum producer Happy Perez, along with appearances from Baby Bash, Frost, Jay Tee, Don Cisco, South Park Mexican, Latino Velvet, Lawless and fellow Funky Aztec member Indio. The album will be available in stores and on all digital retailers on April 24th 2012.

 A couple of weeks ago, we brought you the behind the scenes footage from David Banner's video shoot to his new West Coast dedication single "Californication", for which he gathered Snoop Dogg, Ras Kass, Nipsey Hussle and The Game.
Banner has openly shown his love for West Coast Hip-Hop many times in the past, including when he released the song "Westside" on his "Certified" album. This is another banger as all MC's get their storytelling on.

 Damizza had a huge end to 2011 with the release of his long awaited book "Guilty By Association" for free via DamizzaBook.com. In the months building up to its release he took Dubcnn to release a statement about the book and recent interviews via Dubcnn; see Damizza Issues Statement To Outlets Regarding Book before speaking to Dubcnn directly for this exclusive interview.
Today we are back with Damizza on Dubcnn but this time in his capacity as a supporter of new talent. Manny Murillo, better known by his stage name Fresh, is an aspiring artist born and raised on the Eastside of Santa Barbara, CA.
He grew up and spent many of his formative years at the local Downtown Boys & Girls Club, a place he could escape from adolescent obstacles, and discover his own passions. One of those passions towards his late teens become music and Hip-Hop. Between the age of 17 and 23 - his age today - Fresh has been on a journey to hone his talent and learn his craft.
He started off Making Music with his high school friend/producer Carlos Los Ramirez - who Dubcnn readers will recall produced Cruzin' for Damizza and Butch Cassidy - who introduced him to Damizza.
Since that introduction Fresh - who cites Damizza as "like a big brother" - has gone on to feature on MixTapes and Compilations including various in the "Western Hospitality" series, "Return of the Hustle vol. 1 & 2" and "West Coast Connectz 3." He also featured in Tapwire Magazine’s “Unofficial” Madden NFL 10 soundtrack and right now is working on a debut album as well as a project with Damizza.
Today we are dropping off our first track from Fresh that is said to be from his project entitled "At the Studio (We Just Havin' a Ball)" featuring Butch Cassidy over production from Will Power for Baby Ree Productions.
The track, which features additional keys by "Jedi" Jared Moore and is engineered and mixed by Damizza was recorded at Area 51/Burbank, Ca, & Grannies House Of Hitz, Santa Barbara, CA with mastering by Sjoko Koppert @ Tantrum Studioz. Check the record below.

"The Hierophant" was initially available to listen and purchase via his BandCamp page for just $7.99 and later in the year the album - which is produced entirely by Dj Toure' with features from Tajai of Souls of Mischief, Pep Love, Thomas Pridgen of Mars Volta and MoonShyne - was packaged and re-released for retail.
Today we can confirm that Casual aka Smash Rockwell is releasing a new album on May 22nd titled "He Still Think He Raw" - a nod to his 2001 LP "He Think He Raw."  Having dropped his collaborative street album Heart Of The City with Noni Spitz featuring production from Dae One, Dame Taylor, THX, Clinton Place, Jared Jedi Moore in 2008.
Geo Brown went on to work with countless West Coast artists, producers (Dae One, Focus, Damizza, Dame Taylor) and appeared on projects such as the Tupac Assassination Soundtrack - which was arranged through his affiliation with the then Aftermath signed Bishop Lamont.
That same affiliation saw him in the studio writing for Dr. Dre's long awaited Detox and securing features on PR1ME's Stylafornia, Noni Spitz's WIMS project, and countless others.
Geo returned in mid 2009 with the singles Dont Want It, Back Seat featuring Noni Spitz over production from Jared "Jedi" Moore, Get A Bar and Life Of The Function - all from the DJ Backside hosted, Dae One mixed Underdog Vol 2 project.
Until November last year Geo had dropped off our radar but was right back on it when he dropped his banging new single Everywhere I Go which we confirmed was set to featured on an album he was finishing up called "The Bad Employee." Weeks later he dropped the Music Video fpr Everywhere I Go and today we are back with new music from "The Bad Employee" that is said to be dropping next month.  The Bay Area's own Renz Julian has been a regular on Dubcnn since his 2007 release Legal Crack and last year we stepped it up with an Exclusive Video Interview in June as well as dropping his Alphabet Hustle in conjunction with the Demolition Men in July.

 Following the sudden death of Nate Dogg in March last year [see; Breaking News: Legendary West Coast Singer Nathaniel Dwayne Hale aka Nate Dogg Dead At 41] we as a team at Dubcnn spent weeks developing our Remembering Nate Dogg tribute series of interviews and spoke to artists including E-40, Battlecat, Kokane, Frank Nitty, The Lady Of Rage, Fredwreck, DJ Quik, Bad Azz as well as long term friend and collaborator Warren G. Shortly after that Warren wrote and record a dedication record, titled This Is Dedicated To You, featuring the incredible voice of LaToiya Williams - a track they released on iTunes with the proceeds going directly to Nate's family.
Over the months that followed Warren went on tour with Snoop Dogg [including the Manchester International Festival in the UK which we release photo and video from] as well as appearing on music including producing the Young Jeezy and Ne-Yo "Leave You Alone" [see Video of Jeezy in the Studio With Warren G & DJ Quik] and most recently You Gotta Pay Me (Remix) alongside Gunplay & Bleu DaVinci for Messy Marv.
This week, just days after he shared the Coachella 2012 Stage with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac & More he is back with a teaser of a track he intends to release in the coming days featuring the vocals of Nate Dogg and Game - check out a teaser video released via Power 106 this week for the record "Party We Will Throw Now."

 DubCNN spoke to Bay Area legend Mac Mall just in time for the release of his new album "The Rebellion Against All There Is", which dropped on April 17th 2012. This album represents his reunion with producer Khayree, who provided the entire musical backdrop for the record.
In his interview, Mac tells us about the making of the album, the chemistry with Khayree and the thought provoking lead single with Ray Luv. We also go back in time to talk about some of the classics, Mall's relationship with 2Pac as well as his thoughts on current Bay Area artists.

Ab-Soul has been on a journey since his 2009 debut project "Long Term" (Download | Stream) with the breakthrough release Long Term 2: Lifestyles Of The Broke & Almost Famous [Download | Stream] on Dubcnn in 2010 that produced singles including Livin' Like featuring Rapper Big Pooh, Drift Away, Turn Me Up with label mate Kendrick Lamar and the title track Long Term 2.

The first "D.P.G.C.'ology" mixtape - which will feature Snoop Dogg, 2 Chainz, 8 Ball, E-40, Kokane, and The Hustle Boyz drops this week and already we've brought you tracks from the project including The Hustle Boyz featured Dat Bitch, the summer anthem I'm A Boss and Make It Hot with Snoop Dogg that will also feature on the duos long awaited album "Alumni" later this year - as we expect will Forever In A Day, the video for which dropped late last year directed by DahDah.

Watts representer Six Reasons has spent 2012 so far eclipsing an already impressive 2011 as he builds towards the release of his next DJ Skee presented project "80's Baby" - the follow up to 2008's Pipe Dreams and last years Do Not Pass Go Do Not Collect $200.
Over the last 12 months Six Reasons has brought us footage of him and The Game LIVE in Arizona at The Venue Scottsdale as well as dropping the video to his latest record Raindance featuring Too Short and a Behind The Scenes look of that shoot.
He followed that up with the video for Shotgun featuring Constantine before dropping the single Runnin' For President as well as a music video earlier this year.
In recent weeks he's also dropped a video for I Need A Cape featuring Prophet that will appear on the "80's Baby" project and was at SXSW last month, which culminated with a performance on the Vibe House stage alongside hip-hop heavyweights, such as Snoop Dogg, Timbaland and Nipsey Hussle - a journey we brought you visually with six Reasons "The Road to SXSW 2012".

 Inglewood player and long time Dubcnn regular Damani had a huge 2011 after the release of his On Vacation From Vacation album that dropped early last year.
The project, which featured Snoop Dogg, Crooked I, Mitchy Slick, Short Khop, Daz, BJ The Chicago Kid, Nikki Grier, Musiq Soulchild, Latoiya Williams over production from Hit-Boy, THX, Soopafly, Daz, Warryn "Baby Dubb" Campbell and many more, helped him travel the world touring for much of the last twelve months.
Now, well rested and fully detoxed from life on the road, Damani comes back to the world of hip hop and new music with a double hit; a new single and video for his fans. The track "Everybody C'mon" features Brevi - who regulars will remember from the Demrick banger Ready To Go - is produced by Grammy Award Winner Happy Perez and is accompnaied by a video directed by Joe Dietsch.

 It's been sometime since we last updated you on Bay Area veteran and underground legend The Jacka of The Mob Figaz. In 2012 Jacka teamed up with Andre Nickatina to release their duo EP "My Middle Name is Crime" and we presented the title track's video on Dubcnn, if you missed it check My Middle Name Is Crime now. Then last year he was working on adding to his already stellar record as an independent artist with a new 3-Disc set of albums. He's already sold over 500,000 records independently and amassed a cult following that spans from the west coast to the midwest.
He’s won Bay Area music awards and been consistently relevant since the mid 90s but with all his acclaims and accolades he had never released a 3-Disc set!
The plan had been to release the 3-Disc package under 3 titles; "The Indictment" followed by "The Verdict" and then "The Sentence" - on Tuesday, September 27th featuring a host of his musical peers including Freeway, Erk The Jerk, The Mob Figaz, C-Bo, Royce Da 5'9 as well as many more.
On September 27th 2011 "The Indictment" was released via iTunes - featuring the single All We Do (Remix) with Laroo and J Stalin - before on January 17th 2012 "The Verdict" hit iTunes.
On May 8th 2012 the final instalment "The Sentence" will drop and we have a video for the track "We Out Here" for you to check out below.

 Unless you've been living under a rock the last few weeks or even just today then you will know that last night, Sunday April 15th 2012, the long awaited and hugely anticipated US stage reunion of Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg took place as the finale to the first weekend of the Coachella Music and Arts Festival drew to a close.
The anticipation and hype over the performance was at fever pitch as the curtain drew on the nights performance but few could have expected what unfolded as the two icons were reunited with another...Tupac.
The slain MC was resurrected via the power of modern technology to appear via hologram in front of the packed out 75,000 strong crowd. The shock of the audience was quickly moved to energy as he delivered "Hail Mary" before Snoop Dogg appeared alongside him in the flesh to perform "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted." The holographic tecnhology was done in a way that made the duo seem to be interacting as they had on stage together more than 16 years previously.
It had been rumored in the build up that Nate Dogg - who died a little over 12 months ago - would appear as a hologram, however TMZ; who spoke with Daz Dillinger, explained that the decision was made at the last minute not to use him and to do a video tribute instead with Kurupt and Warren G paying tribute during the posse cut "Ain't No Fun."
Countless sources have reported that AV Concepts - who were behind the technology that brought Tupac back to life in Hologram form - said that Dr. Dre had the vision for the hologram and worked with them for months on the idea, paying a figure believed to be between $200-400,000 himself.
Afeni Shakur - Tupac's mother who is notoriously protective of her sons image rights and estate - gave her blessing to the idea while Dr. Dre also donated to The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.
After the Tupac performance Dre and Snoop rocked the huge crowd with hit after hit before welcoming to the stage countless artists from across both their careers including Eminem [for "I Need a Doctor," "Forgot About Dre" and "Till I Collapse.], Wiz Khalifa [for "In the Air Tonight/Young, Wild & Free"], 50 Cent and Tony Yayo [for "What Up Gangsta," "P.I.M.P. (Remix) and "In Da Club"] and Kendrick Lamar [for "The Recipe"].
Combined with the former Death Row inmates the duo showcased a combined career span of well over two decades of constantly evolving, constantly relevant material.

 Since announcing his partnership with DJ Skee earlier this year, Nipsey Hussle returned with a video off of his upcoming collaboration album with Blanco.
We extensively introduced you to Bay Area spitter Blanco last year, who released his star-studded solo project "American Psycho from which we dropped the videos for I Know, Feel It, Smash Mode with Redman, I Gotta Rap featuring The Jacka - as well as the singles High Life with Freeway, Shooter with Nipsey Hussle.
It's with Nipsey Hussle that Blanco will drop the collaboration album "Raw" tomorrow via iTunes entirely produced by Spanish production crew Cookin' Soul, who have blessed some of Hip-Hop's best with their production.

 It was August 2010 when we first announced "Golden State Warriorz 2" - the follow up to the acclaimed 2008 project "Golden State Warriorz" with the release of audio and video for the "I'm Here Now" single. Then in September 2010 we dropped the second track to be heard from the upcoming LP that saw Balance link up with The Freshmen and Priscilla Cruz over a THX production on Alive.
Balance had hoped to release the project that December with features from The Jacka, Glasses Malone, Messy Marv, Bishop Lamont, Keak Da Sneak, Jay Rock, Mistah F.A.B., Mitchy Slick, Casual, Clyde Carson, J-Stalin, UNI, Big Rich, Erk Tha Jerk, Nio Tha Gift, The R.O.D. Project, Fashawn, Killa Keise, A.B., Big Hollis and more even dropping off another record entitled Time with Clyde Carson and J Myers.
It was mid 2011 before we got the next media with the single Thats Tha Ticket
featuring P Child, Traxamillion & Mr Kee - produced by Sideways - as well as a Music Video for Thats Tha Ticket directed by Brian G. Reyes.
Over the 12 months since Balance had to push "Golden State Warriorz 2" back to focus on a collaboration EP with Dae One entitled B-DAE EP which we dropped for free that gave us tracks including Inception featuring Uncle Murda, Bishop Lamont and J Myers and Thinking With My D*ck featuring Casual and A Wolf.
Then, having made an appearance on our very own Microphone Masters Radio Show - Episode 36 (12/19/11) late last year, Balance was back in January to confirm that "Golden State Warriorz 2" was to be released in March and dropped off a video from the LP featuring Mitchy Slick entitled My Own Shit.
March slipped but today we can confirm that "Golden State Warriorz 2" will drop TOMORROW via iTunes [pre-order now] and is a 15 track release featuring artists includig Erk Tha Jerk, Bishop Lamont, Uncle Murda, Shady Nate, AB, Mitchy Slick, J. Valentine, No-One, Greenspan, Rain, P Child, Traxamillion, J. Stalin, Philthy Rich, Da Vinci, Moe Green, The Grouch and many more.

2005 was the first time we introduced you to Mark Breezy and Black TK's Larceny Entertainment when they unleashed the debut mixtape from Compton sensation, Young Hootie. That mixtape was followed by "Prince Of The Bity" which earned a 3 out of 5 Dubcnn Review rating and a spot as Unsigned Hype in The Source Magazine.
In 2007 he was back on Dubcnn with the solo mixtape The Culmination for free download featuring Tiny Doo, G. Malone, Problem, Kila Krock, El Dorado Red and B-Dot before dropping a remix over the Sean Kingston record "Take You There" [Take You There Remix] produced by J.R. Rottem.
Since then we've been quiet on Hootie until last year when we Interviewed A-Wax who let slip he was planning a collaboration album with YG Hootie after dropping Nightmare From Elm Street Vol. 3 - The Street Tape on which he featured.
Today we are back to confirm that Los Angeles native and Brick Squad Monopoly rapper YG Hootie has teamed up with Bay Area rapper A-Wax for that release entitled "Interstate Trafficking" that will drop via BSM/Illburn Records on May 29th.
They have already dropped the video for the buzz single LA 2 The Bay last month and today are dropping the album's official lead single, "Make Room," featuring Brick Squad head honcho Gucci Mane - check it below.

 Late last year Southern California MC Mic Moses followed up a string of appearances since 2007 - including Crooked I's "St. Valentine Day Bossacre" and Meech Wells releases The New West World Order Volume 2 and Volume 3 - with a new album entitled "Oh Ryan" available via iTunes.
Oh Ryan was the follow up to his 2010 project with C4mula called Back For Seconds featuring Stat Quo and super producers Soul Mechanix. Singles from that included Stand Tall and the Stat Quo collaboration Last Forever.
In 2011 leading up to the release of Oh Ryan Mic Moses also dropped the free download of his solo mixtape The Road Block on Dubcnn as well as another EP alongside Ariano and C4MULA entitled Orange Curtain Vol 1.
Having released Oh Ryan in November Mic Moses dropped the video for Die For Mine and then Move Back in quick succession.
A few weeks back Mic Moses revisited his 2010 Back For Seconds project with C4mula to release a video for the single Stand Tall, today he is back to drop another video with C4mula but this time from Oh Ryan - watch the Bob Daff directed "Hate Us" below.
