It’s almost two years now since we last had new solo music from Inglewood’s own Damani.
In 2011 he released his On Vacation From Vacation project, featuring Snoop Dogg, Crooked I, Mitchy Slick, Short Khop, Daz and more.
Last time out he released the single and video “Everybody C’mon” featuring Brevi and since has been touring, recording and plotting his new album, “Thoughtful King.” The project is set to include features from BJ The Chicago Kid, Maroon 5 keyboardist PJ Morton, Grammy winning producer Warryn Campbell and others.
Two of the “others” on “Thoughtful King” are Musiq Soulchild and Robert Glasper who both feature on the first single – “Now That’s Love” – watch the video below and cop the track in iTunes.
