Australian trio Chase Atlantic release three new tracks, “Right Here,” “Into It, and “Church,” from their debut full-length album for Warner Bros. Records, which will be released early this year. A video for first single “Church” is now available across all online video platforms. Watch it HERE.
The band, which is brothers Mitchel Cave and Clinton Cave and their longtime friend Christian Anthony, personally write, play, produce, and record their own urban-influenced brand of dark-alternative pop punctuated by rock and R&B, blurring the lines between a nocturnal aesthetic and primal bliss on Part One of the upcoming self-titled album.
Since forming in 2011, Chase Atlantic have packed multiple headline tours across Australia, amassed an impressive digital following, released two successful independent EPs,2014’s Dalliance and 2015’s Nostalgia, and scored the viral single “Friends,” which garnered 3 million Spotify playsIn 2015, they caught the attention of Joel and Benji Madden, who brought them into their music-media company, MDDN, and engineered their deal with Warner Bros. Records last year.

“The Maddens locked us away in a Burbank studio for three months and threw away the key. We really got to preserve that organic sound,” says Clinton. Along the way, the band honed and fine-tuned a definitive style that is as equally reverent of Tame Impala and Skrillex as it is of The Weeknd and Travi$ Scott. “We really found our musical identity this past year,” says Mitchel. “What we were doing was different for Australia,” adds Christian. “It felt like we were the only ones putting out music that we produced and made entirely by ourselves. That’s the process. It’s real.

Chase Atlantic’s first American Release is “Church,” which Mitchel describes as “very forward, sexual, and aggressive. The lyrics are sexualizing religion in a way, and the song ends up being the complete and total opposite of what church really means to most people.”
