Award-winning producer TrakkSounds releases a brand new song “Bout It” featuring Houston’s Maxo Kream and Memphis’ Xavier Wulf. The boastful southern anthem is a preview of TrakkSounds’ forthcoming album The Other Side releasing via independent Pairadime Music Group on April 28th.
“As a Texas producer, my influences in southern hip hop definitely include No Limit Records,” explains TrakkSounds. “I’ve worked with Maxo for over 6 years and he’s always reminded me of the same hustle as Master P. He’s the leader of the pack and makes others stand out too. For the track, I created a nostalgic nod with the intro synth but then transformed it into Maxo and Xavier’s style.”
TrakkSounds has recruited an array of top talent for his 15-track project, The Other Side, including: Scarface, Kevin Gates, Devin The Dude, A$AP Ferg and more. Lead single “Once Upon A Time” featuring Scarface and Starlito premiered with XXL who praised the track’s dark piano laden production as “fantastic.” The follow-up TLC-inspired “11:15” featuring Devin The Dude and Kirko Bangz was named “Best Of The Week” on Houston tastemaker blog Day & A Dream. Also, TrakkSounds made “Can’t Explain It” a DXclusive on HipHopDX while enlisting Scotty ATL, Rizzoo Rizzoo and Oran Juice Jones II.
