Al Attles III (son and namesake of well-known professional basketball player Al Attles) alongside his producer, Lila Polite, has written and directed an urban comedy movie entitled “So Fresh, So Clean”, starring Red Grantツ Sadiki Fuller and Speedy. With a budget of around $1 Million, the movie set in Oakland showcases a day in the urban life of 2 broke friends/co-workers trying to grab a piece of the American dream. “Itメs about two average Joe childhoodツ just over broke friends making their way at the Tidey Whitey dry cleaners and the mad cap mayhem that happens on any given day. Baby mama dramaツ breakヨupsツ makeヨupsツ con menツ convicts and con jobsツ foiled robberies and customers droppinメ mad science. Youメll just have to watch and see. Itメs funny! Boughetto comedy at its best!” says Attles.
The movie is scheduled for release in early 2005, along with the official soundtrack entitled “Beats, Rhymes and Grooves (inspired by So Fresh, So Clean)”, which features the Hannibal Leq smash “Shake Your Bottle”, produced by DJ Slip (of Comptons Most Wanted fame).
