Dido Brown was born and raised in Southeast San Diego. When he wasn’t committing crimes, he was making his moves locally as an independent artist in San Diego. He sold thousands of cd’s out the trunk of his car. He has sold apporximately 40,000 cd’s in 2005 by applying all the drive and hustle from his former lifestyle, which now attribute to his growing notoriety in the world of Hip-Hop.
His latest album, Bonafide, is scheduled for release in stores Sept 20th. This is his first CD to actually hit stores. Bonafide features bigs names such as Snoop Dogg and Kokane whom appears on various tracks. Many of the beats were done by D-Black (“Wobble, Wobble” for 504 Boyz, Barbershop and Hustle and Flow). Also featured is his camp and other local upcoming talents: Lil Al, Young Ruly, Lil-Man and G-No. Look for Dido Brown’s video on BET Uncut very soon!
Currently Dido Brown is getting played on major Cali radio stations such as Z90 (San Diego), Power 106 (Los Angeles) and 96.1 (I.E.). Not to mention, he has toured with Lil Rob, visiting Tucson, Las Vegas, New Mexico, Yuma, Atlanta, El Paso, and San Antonio.
