Ya’ll know who the Prince of Compton is! Larceny Ent.’s own Young Hootie stormed into the industry with his Young Compton mixtape. Juggling school and Hip Hop, Hootie is steadily making a name for himself as a key lyricist in the New West Movement. He hopped on the extended version of “All In The Same Gang 2005” recently and DubCNN had the chance to catch up with this new face on the West at Kingz Records in West Covina.
We chopped it up about the Young Compton mixtape, his next project Prince Of The Bity, his schooling, he showed us his favorite albums, and blessed us with a Freestyle. The music in the background is a little loud, but you can still hear Hootie just fine.
