One of the leaders in The New New York (No, that is not a typo) Movement, Tru Life is blazing the streets with his Mixtapes. He’s now signed to Jay-Z‘s Latin Hip Hop label Roc La Familia and is ready to lock the game down.
His latest mixtape New New York: The Movement is hosted by Green Lantern AND DJ Kay Slay. The Mixtape is 40 minutes of the pure street lyricism that only Tru Life can bring to you.
On “Murda Was The Case” he uses the 1994 Snoop Dogg song of the same name as his backdrop. He tells a chilling story about a Drug Deal gone wrong-turned into bloodbath. We have the song for you below in the tracklisting.
