A few days ago we revealed details of the upcoming Chino XL release, “Poison Pen” which is due for release on January 31st 2006. Since then we have received a statement from Chino regarding the comment he made about major label offers as well as news on another album, on he regards as his next major commercial release: “Just so there is no misunderstanding, I want people to know that I never said I turned down any deals from Interscope, or any of their related parties. That information had come from someone who used to work for me. ﾓPoison Penﾔ is my last foray at the underground level.
I am very happy to now be signed to Sway and Techﾒs label, Bolo/Universal, and I am looking forward to my major commercial release, ﾓConfirmation,ﾔ coming out this spring. Iﾒm only putting out ﾓPoison Penﾔ because I have fans who want to hear it. I hope that everyone has a happy holiday season.”
